Their economy may diminish in size, they may have negative GDP which is to be expected when populations decline, but negative GDP is not as bad as people portray it to be. So what if the economy shrinks? So what if jobs are lost?
A nation can continue to thrive under those circumstances and a growing population is not necessarily a good thing.
It's not that simple. Japan can automate and shrink their GDP all they want, but who's going to pay for the aging population? What's declining is people of working age; the senior population is growing. They need more workers to pay taxes to keep their social security system solvent.

Homogenous societies like Japan see far fewer issues from the "cultural enrichers" that Liberals in the west love to celebrate while quoffing champagne at their Islington dinner parties. Immigrants provide cheap labour for large multinationals at the expense of the local communities. It's clear to see which side Biden is supporting and it is not the "common man".
Japan must be laughing at this silly old fool, and rightly so.
We can add this ridiculous criticism of Japan to a long list of ridiculous comments made by Biden, alongside the likes of "poor kids are just as smart as white kids" and "if you vote Trump, you ain't black".
Have you ever been to Japan? I lived in Japan a few years. Even they know they have problems, with declining birth rates and an aging population. But there was still a resistance to "gaijins," or foreigners. Yes, Japan is among the safest and cleanest places I've been. But their economy will not survive unless they're more open to foreign workers.

Yeah, Trump is sounding more senile by the day.

I am always amused when people like you accuse others of not being smart.
Of course, he's correct. Anyone who still believes that Trump won the 2020 election is off-the-charts stupid. I'll go even further to say people that stupid should not be allowed to vote. But if that were the case, MAGA Republicans would never win another election.

Trump has already made comments about the WHCD and it was pretty clear he's not happy. Not a stretch to assume he was watching....

Both Biden and Jost were pretty good. Entertaining and on the mark. And you can tell it got through to Trump who was just stewing on TS. Even though Trump will claim that he never watches the thing....5555.

It was embarrassing watching Trump try to claim that 1,000's of protestors were turned away by police. There were only a handful and they weren't turned away by police. Trump has reached the point where he will just make up a total lie and assume that his nutty supporters will believe it. Well wait, he's always done that.

As long as Trump allies can throw money at the stock, when the price dips, then it will rally. Of course, the Shorts make money during this cycle, and sooner or later, the Trump allies will tire of handing money to the Shorts.
This stock may be one of Trump's greatest grift ever. He and his buddies stand to make a killing...but the money has to come from somewhere. Perfect that it's mostly his supporters getting the shaft. This stock will fluctuate all over the place for awhile, but when market fundamentals kick in, it has nowhere to go but down.

I'd much rather see females like this parading around topless than some dude. Nothing more repulsive than a bunch of sweaty guys walking around shirtless, thinking that they're hot sht.

8 minutes ago, Danderman123 said:In their opening statement, the Defense asserted that Trump didn't have sex with Stormy Daniels. If Ms. Daniels is a persuasive witness, the Jury will convict based on just that point.
I suspect that we are going to see a defense tactic similar to the Carroll case, over the definition of sex. It's possible that they didn't have full intercourse, and so the Trump fans will repeat their claims that Trump really didn't have sex. And therefore Stormy Daniels is lying.
That defense has been brought up before. But it begs the question...."If there were no sexual relations, why would Trump pay $130,000 to Daniels to keep quiet about something that never happened?" Any reasonable person (which doesn't include Trump supporters) would see that it doesn't make sense.

If US rates come down, so will the currency. If Thai rates come down so will the currency. You then have state of the nation......US in an awful pickle what with provoking wars to break out everywhere, and the tax payer has to pay for them and a deficit of $1 trillion this year so, $3 trillion forecast for this year. Thailand in a smaller pickle, but a pickle being created by a mindless baboon who dreams up new expensive gimmicks every day and never ever finishes a job.
You hope not? If you're getting US SS, you'd certainly want a weaken THB. I've got no complaints and hope the THB keeps heading south. But nothing goes down forever....

Another one of Trump's harebrained schemes which only his idiot supporters would buy into. Even if Trump managed to manipulate the USD, other countries could do the same which would bring us back to square one. But it would wreak havoc in the world financial markets and make the US a laughingstock.

This company can't be saved. The only thing I know for certain is that the insiders (including Trump) are going to bleed this company dry. And of course, the pissant retail investors will lose their collective as*ses.

There are other ways for Putin and the Saudis to help Trump (and themselves) rather than invest in this turd stock. Besides, Trump will be dumping his shares at the first opportunity. That's when the stock will really crash. Trump will be fleecing his own supporters....and he's perfectly fine with that.

He's lying. Has a long, deep track record of lying. He bragged about being the one who got Roe reversed thru his packing SCOTUS.
Like any used car salesman grifter, he will say whatever it takes to close the deal.
Of course, you're right. Trump doesn't have any core values/beliefs, only what's good for Trump. If he thought being a hardcore pro-lifer (like Pence) would win him the election, that's what he would be. Rather amazing so many continue to believe his non-stop lies. I hope his most rabid supporters invest heavily in Truth Social, aka DJT stock. Maybe after they're bankrupt, they may realize they've been conned all along. Or maybe not....5555.

If the HILL weren't so biased they would not be confused where trump stands... he stands for abortion being a state issue without federal interference either way.
So from a pro-life perspective, Trump is really pro-choice. If California wanted to legalize all manner of abortions, Trump would be ok with that. Up to the states, correct?

They know that the typical goober earns below average income and has rather plebian tastes. Who is going to advertise? Chewing tobacco? Debt workout companies? Spam? Funny. I've got some more likely advertisers for TS.....mobile home parks, penis enlargement drugs, gun racks for pickup trucks, obesity drugs, confederate flag license plate holders....oh, and of course, Mike Lindell's entire line of pillows and bedding.

The tech space is full of startups that were valued in the $billions while they were still losing money. Some of them for years, if not decades.
This is only news because it's Trump and it's an election year.
These other startups you speak of typically have some new innovative ideas with tremendous growth potential.
Trump's Media is not innovative (it's a cheap Twitter knockoff, afterall) with a declining user base.
But nevermind all that, invest in DJT if you must.

First time doing this and needless to say a bit anxious about the outcome. I followed the instructions on the US Embassy Bangkok website 100%. Double, triple and then quadruple checked the contents and for accuracy. Satisfied I'd gotten it all prepared correctly. Dropped it off and the Thai Post in Jomtien on 8 Feb. The tracking showed it was delivered and accepted at the US Embassy by the security guard on 12 Feb. Then the wait begins. Much to my delight it arrived yesterday 8 Mar, exactly 1 month from sending. Everything was pretty clear and easy. I paid for the Courier Pass Back Service online with my credit card. It was quite simple.
EXCELLENT Service all-round.
Just wanted to report that I too just received my new passport, almost to the day one month after sending my package to the US Embassy. Very efficient. They sent me an e-mail to confirm receipt of my package and I was able to track my new passport once it left BKK (by Thai post). They even sent back my old passport. All in all, very smooth and painless. Well done ACSU US Embassy.

There is nothing Democratic about having someone with insufficient cognitive function as a figurehead of a political party while others pull his strings.
There is nothing Democratic about supporting the legal system removing your political rivals either.
From what you're saying, it appears RFK Jr. appeals to many Trump supporters. Which would make him more of a threat to Trump. Duly noted.

Trump Likens Biden Administration to 'Gestapo' at Private Donor Event
in World News
Posted
It's amazing to me that some Americans would rely on certain things that the POTUS has no control over (e.g., economy, inflation, world events, etc.) and completely ignore the individual character of the candidates. It seems the Republican party no longer cares about things like morality, honesty, integrity, law and order, family values, etc. Why else would they support a corrupt lying conman with multiple indictments who would cheat on his wife after she's just given birth? Isn't the President supposed to be the ultimate role model for our children? We'll see in November I guess.
