nope, lots of them even university grads commonly look for financial assistance.  either want to borrow money soon or just free cash.  many with normal day jobs that moonlight at nightclubs.  i knew a lawyer that moonlighted at nightclubs when she wanted to buy a car. she was selecive, not anyone but still the game was the same.

not 100% but very common.

it gets better in higher levels of society or sometimes the higher level gals just look for higher amounts of money.

in my experiences with many many pharmacists only a small % are clearly competent.  # requesting anesthetic eye drops they tried to sell me antibiotic eye drops with no anesthetic component.  # seeking medication for acute asthma symptoms they tried to sell me theophylline tablets. they require several days of daily intake to reach therapeutic blood level. many with asthma attacks would die using this medicine as first line.

rubbing alcohol in thailand is  ethanol not isopropyl and pharmacist did not know ethanol alcohol is the same one in alcohol beverages. they must know this since hospitals can stock ethanol to use in detox of alcoholics. 

obviously the jury will will award him millions once they realize how much he was embarrassed(damaged) by discussions on the prestigious tv forums

some older macs lack required hardware to run more current versions of osx but can run more current versions of linux and even windows.

I would not be caught dead behind a laptop with a screen and keyboard.. id feel real foolish because at that point id realize i should have bought a desktop. 

 

Yes I got real special needs, i could never use a laptop as I need at least 2 screens one of them on its side (reading A4 papers goes better on one of those). I tried working behind laptops its just not for me I need a good keyboard and a good monitor, a good desk and chair. Like i said its all about comfort while working. 

 

I use my computer for VR too got an oculus rift and I do play games at times. I know for sure my desktop will run circles around your low spec cheap ass laptop (I thought id get rude back seeing that is your thing). Maybe its news to you not everyone needs a laptop some of use really live here and have an office / home to work from. If i was traveling around i would get a laptop but it would not help me much because i need 2 good screens. So for me a laptop is just not good. 

 

I know quite a few people with desktops actually more then those with laptops. Most have a laptop as an extra computer but do most of their real work behind a deskop.

 

i  have a macbook connected to a good external monitor and usb keyboard at home. i can easily take the macbook to travel. it is powerful enough to do most stuff.

for high power things like video editing have a 4 core and 12 core xeon hackintosh desktop (2 boxes) connected to 2 monitors.  also have an old dell pentium desktop that still works well.

actually android boxes have become fairly powerful and do in fact run ubuntu (very common linux version) and can be used for many business applications.

his point was not whether or not you need a 4k (obvious) tv, but that nowadays most android boxes that usually have  less powerful cpu's then desktop computers can do it.

can read it 2 ways. a high% of alcohol dependent are in denial and dont question their etox intake. the op questioning it is a good sign as he may either is not alcoholic and or has broken through denial.

while many alcohol dependent cannot stop til they drop 8 beers a day is ominous.   not a bad idea to attend an open aa meeting at least to get an idea of what others have gone through. will hear interesting, insightful and amazing stories.

if 8 beers/day is having negative effects on your life then the timing of when you start and stop wont matter if the consumption remains the same

No fees when you leave.

You get unlimited one year entries for as long the visa is valid.

No need for a visa run unless your one year entry is ending or you can apply for a one year extension if you don't want to leave the country for a new entry.

can you have multiple entries withing the year . (5 year elite visa) or must you stay inside thailand for all 12 months?
