Bell travel service. Belltravelservice.com. They operate busses from suvarnabhumi to Hua Hin with one drop off at cha am. They advertise a pickup at Don Muang to savarnabhumi then to Hua Hin. I recently used there Bkk to Hua Hin I could not say enough good things about this service. They operate very comfortable busses I think I paid 325 baht for each person. Again we dropped off 1person in Cha am then straight to the bus terminal in Hua Hin. I think this is operated by Roong Reung coach

Stopped by Mr A after seeing this thread then moved on after he quoted me 700 for a Honda Pcx. Found a nice one near our hotel for 400 a day just a FYI.

Currently in Hua Hin. Does anyone have any good suggestions where to get the large shrimp or Lobster and have them cooked we saw them last night at the night market and they seemed a little pricey but maybe that’s just the way it is. Any secret restaurant suggestions ?

Thanks Peter we were finally successful. We found two Thai style near the entrance of the Wednesday night market in a Thai area.

We tried that. We found a place down the street for nails it is really more for tourists as I know we are in a tourist area. We will be in Hua Hin in a week , so it will just need to wait.

You would think it would be that easy. In my neck of the woods I could get this resolved pretty quickly. Hua Hin Pattaya Chiang mai no problem.

We are currently in Krabi Ao Nang area can anyone help locating a salon. My Thai wife was hoping to find a place for nails and possibly hair cut. Usually they are everywhere but we have had very little luck finding any. It does not need to be specific to Ao nang we have a motorbike and gps. Thanks

Hello to all. Is there anyone that could give me a little help with a hotel guest house or home. I will be traveling to Thailand and onward to Phuket the beginning of December. With me will be my Thai wife of 14 years (we have not been back to Thailand pre Covid). We will be going to Phuket along with her brother sister in law an two kids 5 and 7. The airfare for us seems reasonable. I have been to Phuket one time about 15 years ago. Can someone give me there secret place suggestion. I know I can go to hotels.com ect but if someone can lean me to a place that you think has good value and would meet our needs I would be great full. So I am looking for a place or 2 hotel rooms. one room with two beds and a room with one. Close proximity to the beach , it does not need to be waterfront but at least a short walk to the beach. A nice pool and close proximity to local Thai food. We need the ability to access reasonable local Thai food , this is a must maybe there is a street market near by ect. I just don’t want to be stranded in a fancy hotel that requires us to eat at the hotel or need transportation to go to a town. Budget wise I am not really stuck on any price range the cheaper the better online I see hotel rooms that are very cheap but It is hard to know if they are good or bad probably under 3,000 baht per room is fine 1000 to 1500 is better. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the responses. I can find a hotel using any of the online booking sites. Usually I prefer to land with a back pack then do my hotel search on foot. The only difference is I will have an additional family with me so it requires a little more planning. Thanks steve

Hello to all. My Thai wife and I will be returning to Thailand the end of November beginning of December. Can anyone offer me any suggestions on accommodations in the cha am Hua Hin area. Her brother and sister-in-law along with two kids 4 and 7 will be picking us up We want to treat them to a 3 day holiday away from home. Preferably close to the beach something for kids to do easy access to Thai food and pool would be nice. We will have transportation. We are not high end travelers. My wife and I have been married for 14 years and reside in the USA she has a good job and wants to spend some money and splurge a little we have visited Hua Hua in the past 3 times pre Covid. I will start a new thread for suggestions for purchasing a condo or house fully aware I can not own land. I am of the don’t invest more than you can stomach to loose theory and renting may be a better option. My wife has saved 2 million and I told here I would match that but we are not bound by those numbers. But we just want to look around and see what is available so we will spend some extra days looking at new developments I search lazudi bahtsold and Craigslist weekly viewing homes in these areas I am currently retired but months away from social security we own 4 homes and rentals in the USA and have savings 401k, so we are ok financially. I know there are other countries to settle down in. We are looking for a 6 month in Thailand 6 month USA situation. We spent 6 months in Chiang Mai and liked the area but I really do not want the smoke thing but I am aware it is everywhere. From here we will head south to Krabi and maybe Phuket , we have about 4 weeks to work with. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
