  1. History shows when demonstrations of this kind build up as they seem to be inevitably there will be trouble. Despite the PAD saying it will be a peaceful march there will be those that want to cause trouble and once it starts the ending is always the same as the police have no choice but to do something. I hope it doesnt happen but that would contradict everything that has happened before.

  2. The price of Oil will hit $150. This will hit every nation. The insustrial boom in Thailand will be hit hard as will the rural farmers. The Thais that have a bit of money now will not be able to help themselves buying up poperty etc as they only think about now not log term it just is not in the culture or nature. Inflation is destined to go up. The only plus side is that when bringing in currency you will get more but that wil be offset by rising prices which is also inevitable. There will be a lot of un happy Thais by the end of this year as well as a lot poorer.

    First time I have added a post usually just read. Unfortuneatly I will not be country as I would like to have come along especially as it in Surin which is where my wife is from. I havent been there for a few years now as her indoors goes there when I am away. We live in Naklua. Anyway I will have to start posting so I can become eligable to these doos.

    All Thaivisa members plus 1 guest are cordially invited and there are no signups required to attend



    Only the following pre-requisites apply;

    1) Only Thaivisa members with 5 or more posts prior to today, Saturday, 5 April 2008



    will be permitted to attend. Anyone joining after today cannot be accomodated.

    2) There will be laptop computers set up at the entrance and each member will simply need to log in successfully to Thaivisa. Upon successful log-in, a name tag will be issued on the spot and you are then free to meet and greet the "faces behind the avatars" as well as enjoy free grilled curries, Buckwheat's famous BBQ ribs, salads and beer courtesy of

    The Farang Connection Isaan Lawyers and Thaivisa.

    Isaan Lawyers will be present and have graciously offered to provide free consultations.

    Due to space limitations and the anticipated number of attendees, children unfortunately are not permitted
