Good news...the number of daily positive cases continues to decline.
It declined from yesterday only! I bet it will go up tomorrow.

The PM has stated there will be no national lockdown, as I implied elsewhere there will be 76 provincial lockdowns instead, then the PM can stand up and say a national lockdown was not necessary but local lockdowns were as judged by the local governors. Not his fault.
Spot on. That's where it is heading. There are more and more restrictions issued everyday by various provinces.

Well, we all know that things can change by the minute. Same about Songkran that was promised by various governors in April, which actually never happened.

It has no taste and a stink to it. Stick to the regular Leo!
I thought the feeling it brings after drinking it is way better than the regular Leo. In my opinion Leo No.8 could become a hit!

I've had another session with Leo No.8 and I could tell for sure that the buzz is similar to premium beers, however the taste is a let down. If you are looking for a nice relaxing feeling, then this beer is the right choice. I'm going to experiment more with it. So far I'm quite pleased.

Does this Leo 8 taste like normal Leo or is it a completely different taste?
I would say it is quite different, very close to Singha Reserve.

I tried it today and it is very close to Singha Reserve tastewise. It is sweet and smooth. Big improvement from the normal Leo. However I wish it was more hoppier ????

There were cans of Celtic Amber in my local 7-11 last week.
But only 4%
Has anyone here tried it?
Maybe it is just a rebrand of Black Dragon Red Beer.
It's the Black Dragon Red Beer and it is not good in my opinion. New can design but the taste didn't improve.

There are less local tourists in Pattaya over this long holiday because local people opted for cooler weather and went North. However they will be disappointed with still warm weather over there, as it is warm at the moment.
Pattaya businesses are dying a the moment. There are no customers over the weekdays. If you are still in denial, just go for a walk and see it yourself that more than 90% of businesses are shut.
The sporadic influx of people over the weekend won't help much. To save Pattaya the government needs to allow more tourists in.

this is what climate change look like:
with increased co2, crop yields goes up and prices down
But the bloody idiots want to go green by reducing CO2, which ultimately leads to less crops and food. They want to starve people to death.
For example UK wants to ban diesel and petrol cars by 2030, which will create further problems for the average folk. The quality of life that we enjoyed is going down the drain.

That's the choice the government made. It chose to destroy millions of lives to protect a few. Was it a poor choice? The time will tell.

Things will continue getting worse, unless Thai government comes with a viable solution.
Open borders to tourists with the set requirements, such as COVID-19 insurance.
Build proper facilities to test for COVID 19 at arrivals. If negative, good to go. If positive, then do the quarantine. If sick get admitted. The insurance should cover it.
A few hundred of tourists a month will not do any good to Thailand as a whole, just to a couple chosen hotels. That's it!

The problem at this school (and at many others) is in making young learners, I mean kindergarten students to sit all day long at their desks and not make any sounds. That's an impossible task and that's why the teachers lose their plot.
The school should reconsider how to teach young learners who need freedom of movement and learn new things exploring the school area under the teacher's supervision.
Making kindergarten students sit at their desks all day is just criminal. Education should be a pleasent experience, not a torture!

That's good. Why on earth you should wear masks if there is no virus spread in the area? The mask thing is becoming ridiculous. They will make us wearing masks even if the COVID thing is over. It is becoming some kind oif fetish ????

As I wrote in some other threads some time ago already, it is obvious that there are numerous members of the Thai establishment who cannot be happy about the strict isolation applied to the country by the junta as a favour to their Chinese friends, and who understand the real agenda of the generals in the government.
Many lose billions of business. Even Anutin himself might be affected with his company Sinothai, though his company also might be compensated by orders related to the big infrastructural projects like the railway system. But surely there is a lot of pressure to the government, coming from others in the elite, to open the borders as soon as possible and to allow international tourism again.
Therefore there is the possibility that some relaxation will come soon. Personally I hope. In the recent days, more an more signs can be seen, and the OP is just one more sign. However, it is possible also that the current political situation might lead to a continued blocking of the borders. Time will tell.
But nobody should be worried too much about tourists "bringing back" Covid to Thailand. There are many hints that it neither had disappeared from the country months ago, as claimed by the powers-that-be, nor that Thailand is very vulnerable to the virus. There are many climatic, social, cultural and maybe even genetic reasons why Thailand will stay quite safe, plus the specific characteristics of how most tourists spend their holiday (mostly outdoor, at the beaches etc.). This has been discussed in numerous other threads already. No need to repeat that all here again.
I agreed with your post until you said that Thais have immunity to this virus. It is a false statement. This virus affects Thais as any opther people. For whatever reasons it didn't affect until now, it will affect anyway in the future. It's just a matter of time.

Just now, sharecropper said:Miraculously, when politically convenient, the "government" can find cases.
It could be true. They could use COVID as an excuse to stop all the protests that are happening at the moment. I expect more and more cases of local transmission in the coming days. Is it a coincidence or not we will find out shortly.

Nok Air must have paid well. BMW at 25 years old, unless rich family.
3am, Cyrcadian rythms, Human Factors, aircraft engineers will know about those. Hotchilli is right, it's the uncontrolled drive into terrain that does it. Abrupt stop, unsurvivable G forces.
Darwin at his best.
Or maybe a second hand BMW? You don't have to be rich to own a second hand German car.

It's a matter of time when the virus enters Thailand from Myanmar as it is impossible to stop it by Thai government. They did a great job with the airports, but the real danger is right at the western border. It doesn't matter how hard they try, they can't stop the spread from Myanmar.

You can't ban people from growing food.

All the big people who were criticizing Puttin have been taken down in the past, Navalny is just another victim. And I don't think he can recover completely after he went through.

Beer Lao doesn't taste bad, but in my opinion, much overrated and overpriced for what it is.
Why do TVF members, living in a third world country, think the neighbouring fourth world country would be able to produce a much higher standard beer?
I think it has to do with that the grass is always greener at the other side of the fence.
Agreed. Beer Lao is better than any beers brewed in Thailand. However Beer Lao IPA is the fake one. Yes, it is drinkable and nice, but it is not an IPA ????
