Thanks Crossy. Now I'm wondering if their PH1000 series is any good (looks pretty solid and obviously a newer generation, but...). Not too many info and user reviews can be found on youtube/internet.

I bought the Hybrid inverters direct from MUST Solar in China, they are 5.5Kw models and cost 16,333 baht delivered all duties paid. I bought the MUST Grid-Tied inverters from Thai Jeen Solar on Lazada. I had to add those because I export on average 80 KwHr’s per day (peak 120) and we use about that too as we run all the 11 air conditioning units 24/7 and keep the house at a constant temperature.
The MUST Hybrid Inverters are extremely poor at exporting power to the grid.
Could you please explain what do you mean by that and state your hybrid inverter model. I'm considering a 5Kw Pro series hybrid fanless one, specs do look quite solid and the prece is quite attractive compared to similar spec Sofar Solar one (HYD5000-ES).

Turkey, Egypt, Cuba, Maldives Seychelles are all open and many of them are way cheaper than a trip to land of scams with all these crazy restrictions. Who the hell Thais think they are, center of the Universe?

All guesses are worthless without having error codes on hand. Reasons can be various, electronics (repairable), ABS motor (barely repairable), bad sensors, blown fuse etc. ABS won't work but the car can be driven as usual.

Perhaps you may give some thought to using an ultrasonic device either triggered by thermal change or movement. Probably something above the range of the human ear but still in range of the cats I think from memory the upper threshold for humans is around 20kHz whilst for the pesky Felis catus is circa 80kHz. probably need around 75-100 decibels. May not completely stop them but would reduce their incursions!
These don't work at all. I have the same problem as the OP and I bought a couple of different ultrasonic devices to try. Few days later I came back home to find 2 cats <deleted> right next to it, with number of kittens playing around. Everything outside the house smells of cat <deleted> now. I generally like animals but I'm very close now to start killing these little bastards.

There's usually 30% customs + 7% VAT on auto parts, did you need to pay that?
I ship a lot of car parts here (mainly for European makes, orders from my customers), only was charged import duty once or twice over years. In the normal situation ie pre-covid it usually takes 15-20 days for parts to arrive, now I'm waiting for 3 packages (ironically 2 of them are for Mercedes cars) that have left Europe in mid-July and are still in transit.

GT-02 are decent enough and more or less reliable, but they are not manufactured anymore, at least by my supplier's factory.

This has been no secret for 20 years; K&N trades filtration for flow. Oil analysis data clearly shows that silicate levels in the oil are much higher on cars running K&N filters, meaning more dust is getting past the air filter.
But then if you're after performance you change the oil much more frequently, so overall there's no bad effect on the engine.

I install them in numbers for my customers (mainly rental companies) but not OBD versions.

The problem is very common with Fiestas and sometimes happens with Focus, too. All of a sudden your dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree, you visit a dealer and they tell you the ABS is dead. Replacement cost is close to 30000 baht. In most cases DTC code is U3000, ABS lost communication with PCM. Thai Fiesta dedicated groups are full of threads on ABS topic, too. It happened with my car as well a couple of years ago and took a lot of time and few dead ABS modules to find the cause of the problem on hardware level, since then I repaired few dozens of these modules for myself and my Thai friends. Since most mechanics (dealers included) have no idea they can remove just the electronic part of the ABS and keep the car driveable while the module is being repaired I created this video tutorial to help folks that are struggling with the same problem.

My company has previously sponsored Aussie V8 Supercars to the tune of a million dollars a season. But yes, not everyone gets sponsorship money.
National series attract much more publicity hence sponsors are easier to get (not easy, just easier). But on club level, which OP is going for as I presume, it's very hard. Motorsports is an incurable addiction and very expensive one

If you read it carefully you see that I didn't try to bag anyone. So take your meaningless comments somewhere else.

if he can have some decent drives in a less than competitive car, go after some sponsorship and let them pay to make the car more competitive.
Lol after 15 years in pro motorsports I wish it was as simple as that

Are you serious? You're going to compete using a beaten up beamer with a roll cage and seats, that's all? I don't mean to offend you but it sounds like you just want to have some fun on racing track as without any serious prep your car won't take you anywhere near podium. What about tires, suspension, brakes? What final drive ratio will you use? what about other gears? These are just a few questions you'd have to ask yourself when you plan to enter.

Interesting topic. Yes Russians are generally seem to be "rude" and "unfriendly" at the first glance, but that's just because they seldom smile at strangers. Here is a good article explaining that, worth reading - http://blog.properrussian.com/2011/05/why-russians-are-not-smiling.html
Language barrier is an issue as well, many have basic English skills but are too shy speaking it being afraid of making a mistake and being laughed at for it. But all in all once you get to know them Russians are very kind and open hearted people.

This already works in many areas through the country, I had fines mailed to me in Bangkok years ago. Installing cameras in Phuket was only a matter of time.

Thanks for your answer though it didn't answer my question at all I am well aware that multi entry non-B isn't as easy to get anymore as it was 5 or 10 years ago, when all I had to do is to show up in Perth or Amsterdam consulate with a letter of invitation. Anyway, if anyone knows if obtaining a multiple entry non-B is still easy in any European embassies or consulates, please share.

My work permit has expired while I'm on a holiday in Europe. Which embassy/consulate will be my best option to get a new 1 year non-B providing them with my company paperwork and a letter of invitation? Few years ago I had a similar situation and got a new multi non-B visa in Amsterdam without any hassle but apparently rules have changed and they don't do it anymore.
