My friend has been offered a position as a nanny for an American family. This is not through any agency. They would sponsor her through the process. They are upstanding and financially well off.
She does not have many ties to Thailand. She has family but does not have any assets.
What would be the best course to take to obtain a visa?
The family would like to hire her for one year or more. Once again they are willing to do what it takes to get her over there.
Thanks for any and all help.

BUT the REAL point is, I realised then that THEY also didn't know when the last report date had been. If I had done nothing but waited till I left the country the next time, then reported as usual on my return, no-one would have been any the wiser!
Not true. In order to leave the country you need a re-entry permit. When you go to get that at immigration they will check for your 90 day checkin paper. If you don't have one you will have to pay 2000. Also, if you leave withour the re-entry permit your visa is cancelled and when you return you receive a 30 tourist visa.

No Sultan of Brunei, Mr Walmart, or Toxin?
Can safely say this list is not very accurate.
Walmart is divided into 5 after 'Mr. Walmart's' death.
Taksin divided his hoolding between his family when he ran for office of PM.
and no this list is notoriously not accurate as it depends highly on what people tell them about their holdings. Many lowball estimates as they don't want people to know what they are really worth. And many, such as The Donald overstate by a long short their worth.

So we were married in California USA
We both live in Thailand
We have been separated for 3 months
She lived with me in America for about 18 months
She came to America on a K-1 visa
She received her temp Green Card
She only lived in America for less than a month woth her Green Card
I don't know where to start with this but we need a divorce and we are not married in Thailand just California. So I don't know what to do. Any advice as to what to do?
Thanks in advance...

Thanks for allt he help! I went today and it was really painless. Got stamped for one year at 1900 bt. If I want to leave I must fill out the proper paperwork so as to not loose the extention. Not sure how to make it a multi entry.

I am wondering what happens if I file for extention so I don't have to leave every 90 days. I assume that my 90 day stamp turns into 365 or something. Can I still come and go as I please or do I have to fill out papers every time I want to leave Thailand? I am confused if you couldn't tell. My Multi O is the type for family support..Thai wife, but no money deposited of income proof. I am now working and received a work permit and with that I can file for extention. I am jsut not sure whow that works, how long the extention is, and lastly am I free to travel about. Thanks for the info in advance.

I plan to teach but will not procure a job until after I arrive. Should I get some kind of visa before I leave the US or just come in an get a 30 day standard type of tourist visa at the airport? BTW I am married to a Thai citizen! What do I want?
THanks, jon
New York Style Pizza

I have ordered from their Thong Lo branch 3 times and each experience is worse than the last. This time though the pizza sucked. Not cooked through and the cheese isn't very good. I tried to cook it a bit more and the crust didn't improve. I just returned from NYC and Philly and this version is not anywhere near as good. Avoid!
