I opened a bank account in Pattaya some time ago but live in a different area now, I went to the local Bangkok Bank branch to get the letter required for the marriage extension but they said have to go where you opened it.
What are peoples experience with asking the local branch for the letter proving the funds that have come from overseas for marriage extensions? Should I ask around at a few other branches before doing the 4 hour mission to the original branch and back.
TIA

With everthing that is going on i've decided to go with a 1 year extension based on marriage and looking to open a Bangkok Bank account to put the required funds into, I don't have a work permit so my question is which branches have you have success with when opening a new account without an work permit?

You will get a 2 or 3 page Kor Ror 22 form that proves your marriage was registered here.
Thanks Mate

Not sure the consular officer gave you correct info. They should still accept your Australian marriage certificate.
You cannot get married again here.
You can only register your foreign marriage at an Amphoe to get a Kor Ror 22 foreign marriage registry. You will need to have marriage certificate legalized by the Australian embassy or an authority there. Then the translation of it would have to be certified by the Department of Consular Affairs in Bangkok.
Sorry if this is a silly question.. Once Ive done that will I get some sort of a certificate in Thai for the registry? Love your work by the way ubonjoe...

Hi All
So I just thought I post this as it may help someone, I went to savahnaket late last year to do my multi non O based on marriage like I have done 3 times before.... I had all my documents in order same as before except this time the same IO I usually see said next time if I didn't get married (in Thailand) and have a Thai Marriage certificate (not a translation of this Aussie one) I would not get another one next time if I came back.
Quick question related to that what is the process and cost of getting married here?
Cheers

Visas are not transferred. If you have a valid multiple entry non-o visa issued by an embassy or consulate you will have to show both passports on entry to the country to use it until it expires.
Immigration only transfers stamps they have done.
You do not have to do it an immigration office if you only have a visa entry to transfer. It can be done on departure from the country.
Thanks mate

You can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife.
It can be applied for at Korat immigration.
Immigration offices are open Monday to Friday.

Hi guys
Anyone have any contacts that have access to bulk (100MT+ per month) waste motor oil.
Any info or leads of reputable companies in Thailand that deal in this commodity would be great.
Cheers

The "tip" was probably to have one busted while the other 5 mules go through……….

Give it a crack mate, if your a good cook have passion and you enjoy doing it go for it.
I've seen guys come and go in small towns to but the ones that last are the guys serving quality authentic farang meals, large portions and really cold beer.
Don't listen to the doubters on here, I know many successful small business owners doing exactly what your looking to do, just got to put in the work!
Good luck

Not doing your 90 day report deliberately
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

I was just wondering if you don't go in and do your 90 report for your marriage extension what is the worst that will happen? I know it's simple and straight forward to do via the app /mail /in person etc but interested to hear of people that just skip it.
