Presume you are referring to the Italian game which Brazil lost 3-2. The game was a tragedy for football with the scintillating Brazilians going out to the less than exciting Italians. Brazil were behind twice and came back. Socrates got the first goal a superb effort. Brazil gave away the 2nd thanks to a mindless square pass across their own area. Falcao made it 2-2 and Rossi got his hat trick and the winner when the ball was returned in after a corner and Junior miles behind the rest played him onside.

Most neutral football fans felt depressed to see the outstanding Brazilians going out.

Yeah that was the game. Sad as it was if you are not right at the back then you are on the back foot.

Sad. That 3-2 with Brazil was some game, remember watching it with my Dad.

My fear is, having just watched Barcelona 5 Levante 0, is that we could get a chasing in that game. I also believe we will spend a LOT of time defending against Croatia.<BR><BR>In Trap we trust.<BR>

The team I certainly did'nt want was Croatia from that pot as I think they are an each way bet for whole thing. As for Spain well we will have to park the bus. Italy......well I think Croatia will take them.

Engerlunds group will be very close I think. People here are saying its easy but I d'ont think so. Second place will play Spain so not good.

The Germany group is interesting. They will go through but the fly in the ointment could be Denmark. They topped their group ahead of Portugal, who will struggle I believe.

As for group A.....lucky lucky lucky.

I think we need to blood some new players and do it quickly. I really wanted to avoid Croatia, I believe they will defeat Italy and really put us to the pin of our collar.

From my own first hand experience of this some random thoughts -

- She needs to see Ireland first before she lives here. The Thai community here is small. She will get bored very quickly if she has nowt to do.

- You need to be able to show that you can support her. When she lands in Dublin they will ask you how she will stay here. I d'ont think the brother option is the best way to go. Its certainly not the easiest.

- Long term its easier for her to stay here if you can marry her. But when she applies for a spousal visa you will still have to show income etc.

The road ahead is very long. Good luck because I have been there.
