Why on earth do they want to repatriate the body.  One family member fly out to attend the cremation, then fly back with the ashes.  You're supposed to get permission but if you put them in a wooden box in your luggage no-one will care.  Have a big memorial service back home.  RIP

There must be more to this story.  I suspect he's afraid of people on the outside.  At least he thinks he's safe in custody. 

It's simple, take their phones off them for their shift.

So pay for your big purchases like school fees by direct transfer.  Pay by credit card wherever you can, like Revolut.  Send your day to day living expenses to the gf.  It won't be possible for Thailand to demand 800k in the bank and then take 20%.  There'll be a lot more discussion before any of this actually happens.

I have to have a minor op next week.  Hospital says i must have a covid test before.  Cost 3500 baht.  I think I'll drive to Phuket for a quick test.

The real problem here is the false positive tests.  Do people get the option to retest before being carted off to detention?

Happy to be near the back of the queue and happy to pay for it, assuming no ridiculous profiteering.  Would rather wait for AZ or Pfizer than have the Chinese vac.  Pfizer products seem to work well.
