It's simple, take their phones off them for their shift.

When you have to buy your job you start in debt.

The first challenge from expats would be having to show 800,000 baht in the bank for the retirement extension and then being told it's subject to 20% tax. Send a load of money here before 31 December and then sit back with the popcorn.

For 17 billion baht, roughly $485 million, you could buy 50,000 tractors equipped with ploughs. Enough for 8 tractors in every tambon. Rent them to the farmers and there would be no need for crop burning. I know where I would invest the money.

So pay for your big purchases like school fees by direct transfer. Pay by credit card wherever you can, like Revolut. Send your day to day living expenses to the gf. It won't be possible for Thailand to demand 800k in the bank and then take 20%. There'll be a lot more discussion before any of this actually happens.

It would be perverse to insist that we show 800,000 baht in our accounts for our retirement visas and then impose 20% tax.

The 29% were those who voted for the status quo and the 49% are those that will take to the streets if they don't get the government they voted for. The remaining 20% will give the rioters food and shelter.

So owning shares in a company that hasn't broadcast or published anything since 2008 is enough to disqualify him. They really are barrel scraping, bottom feeders.

How much better would Thai life be with a decent IPA on tap. Lots of hope in Thailand at the moment, I'll raise a glass to the Future Forward!

Everyone knows it comes from crop burning across SE Asia. Why do they burn? Because they don't own tractors to turn the soil over, so burning is the cheapest way. Now for the cost of 3 submarines you could buy 28,000 tractors, enough for three in every agricultural tambon. You could rent them out for a nominal fee and over time the investment would pay for itself. Immediately the nation would see an improvement in health. But of course defense of the realm must take priority over the nation's health.

If you can afford $1 million you probably don't need to work.

Royal Varuna is the place to go as you are in Pattaya. If you want a new boat contact Element6.com. also in Chonburi, they make them. Cost around 200,000. There are always members at RVYC selling Lasers. When I was there in December there were 3 or 4 for sale on their noticeboard. When i was there i took some photos.

Well 50 police went looking for prostitution in Pattaya a couple of years ago and declared there was no evidence of it. I doubt there'll find any this time either.

If they need 15bn per year they'd better budget for 50bn to cover all the fees, otherwise nothing will change.

Perfect. I qualify but there's an importa t detail missing. How much does it cost?

I have to have a minor op next week. Hospital says i must have a covid test before. Cost 3500 baht. I think I'll drive to Phuket for a quick test.

The real problem here is the false positive tests. Do people get the option to retest before being carted off to detention?

Compare with Vietnam. When they made helmets compulsory the next day not a single rider or passenger was seen without one. Instead of fining them confiscate their bike for a week and then you'd see compliance.

Happy to be near the back of the queue and happy to pay for it, assuming no ridiculous profiteering. Would rather wait for AZ or Pfizer than have the Chinese vac. Pfizer products seem to work well.

I always find a gun necessary when i go for a sail. These flying fish can be quite aggressive when they jump in your boat.

There must be more to this story. I suspect he's afraid of people on the outside. At least he thinks he's safe in custody.
