Carry raw eggs! Throw them at cars! For motorbikes I have a somewhat more drastic solution.

There is (well was) a Decathlon  at the North Pattaya (opposite the town hall)  Tesco Lotus..bought my grand kids some roller blades.

Decathlon is still there. Now you required to apply for "membership", a mere formality. Decathlon is a French company, dealing only with their own brand. (Artengo)

Ermm....I did not know I had that option...

I reckon the badge number is shown on the dashboard together with his picture, right?

But then, how do I get in touch with the DLT?

Ok, we understand that you have only just recently arrived in Thailand. It is all a matter of time to get used to the way everybody ticks.

Buying a condo is crazy here, especially if you come from the UK with the Pound at 41. A nice one would cost 100-150,000 GBP !!! In a third world country.

With the politics going on in the UK one has to ask: Which one is the third world country...

Tea bags are 175bht for 100, and you can use each bag twice. 1bht/drink

    3 in 1 coffee is 3bht/packet

So coffee should be 3x the price of tea.

    Use each teabag twice? Eeeek

Here are some figures, all taken as 'average US mid-west' based on USFDA charts.

    1 lb tea - $100.00  -  makes 200 cups approx.

    1 lb coffee - $5.00 -  makes 48 cups approx.

Now post the same in Thai Baht, would make more sense

Understood, and that was actually the reason why I suggested to do my 90 day report on the day as previously expected, because then they only look at the slip in my passport, while otherwise they will have to look at my entry stamp to count the 90 days and maybe see some easy money.

They are paid to look at your stamp{s), all of them...

Why don't you just go and "try" to do a 90 Days Report? (In Chonburi Immigration Office, e.g. this is a matter of minutes.)

  8. Why are advertisements placed in the Forum Section? (See attached)

Clicking on the topic brings you directly to the insurer's website.

This company's business practice might deservedly be in the Forum; it discriminates elder drivers.

People should pay for the option.  If they don't want to pay extra, simply use cash.  Personally, I'd prefer to have that option.

Strange view of business practices you have...

Merchants, restaurants, etc. accept credit cards, because:

    1) The customer often buys/consumes more or more expensive goods  and

    2) Will come back if good service is rendered

    3) No-Cash means less risk

A store that cannot calculate the possible fee for credit card transactions will soon be out of business...

I'm off to Vietnam Feb have heard good things about there coffee. Someone on the forum said they bought 4kg while there

Vietnam has become the second biggest coffee exporter in the world after Brazil! However, most of it is Robusta. Connaisseurs prefer Arabica or at least a blend of the two. Be careful, therefore, what you buy.

She drinks it black and no sugar and is asking about coffee Beans. So of what of the purpose of your submission? None I’d reckon.

Epicureans and coffee afficianados don’ t mind a bit of “hassle” I drink coffee almost everyday and have NEVER touched the so called three in one rubbish as it is not as much coffee but copious amounts of sugar, plus fake milk, a bit of freeze dried coffee remnant plus whatever chemicals and adulterants are necessary to keep the product stabile on the shelf.

As taste is subjective advice to the OP is shop around and try different beans to find what she likes. There is good Thai grown coffee sold whole bean from the North as well.IMG_2053.jpg
