    When your country's national sport is Muay Thai, you learn to fight with fists, elbows, knees, feet, etc.. If you're dumb enough to get in fights, using your feet as well as fists seems like a smarter way to fight.

    I've been driving a car in Bangkok almost everyday for 20 yrs., and have never been hit by a motorbike. I also ride a motorbike and yeah, I've nicked a few mirrors, but never broke or damaged one. Btw, love your profile pic.

    "the foreigners asked him to take them to a supermarket for a currency exchange." The foreigners requested the ride to the currency exchange, it's not the taxi driver's fault they didn't have enough Baht. When you ask a taxi driver to take you somewhere, you pay the fare.
