How do you get caught with two pills and 0.3 grams of coke? He must have bought the dope from a cop or a snitch.

NATO members are supposed to contribute 2% of their GDP to the organization. Every new member country is theoretically a windfall for the defense contractors. Nice work if you can get it.

Can't see anything in the photo, not even British humanoids.
In this case...it's a good thing, and fine with me.

That's a lot of booger sugar he ingested. If just one of those pellets leaked, he would have blasted off on a one-way ticket to never-never land.

What a dope...

"He is trying to kill us" one of the guys said in the video to the Thai couple. You can see that they were not being aggressive or looking crazy in the video. They had zero interest in using the gun themselves. Hopefully we will see all the CCTV evidence to show what actually happened. Either way, I bet they will never return to Thailand again.
Hopefully they'll spend a lot of time in Thailand...behind the walls of a prison. Lucky for the Kiwis that their parents are wealthy, it's their best and maybe only chance of seeing NZ again in the near future.

Apparently he's a real hothead, but he deserves his day in court. If he confesses or if he's convicted, jail then deportation would be more than appropriate.

We take them all the time. Wifey is really good at negotiating the rate. Otherwise, like you say, a rip off.
Same. My Thai wife can almost always get a good price. I tell friends that visit to take a tuk-tuk once for the novelty, then avoid them like the plague unless you don't mind paying the inevitable inflated price or being taken somewhere the driver gets a commission. Not to defend the grifter overcharging, but even the "tourist" price is still dirt cheap compared to taxi prices in most people's home countries.

When someone is kidnapped, why conceal her identity? This is not the time to "protect her privacy." You would think at least a picture of her would help in case she was spotted at a gas station, 7-11, etc.. In my home country, when somone is kidnapped, the victime's name and picture is shown everywhere possible in hopes that someone will see her and report it to the police.

One of the first things you do when traveling, get a card from your hotel when you check-in. Especially when you don't speak the language.

I'm not much of a pot smoker, but a couple of puffs before bed sure helps me fall asleep faster and sleep longer.

The best response that I have heard of from a member of a cabin crew is 'Our job is to save your ass. Not kiss it.'
On a more serious note, most passengers seem to assume that it is the crew's job is to serve them.
It's not.
They are there for passenger's safety. The rest is just a bonus.
Cabin crews are instructed not to help lift baggage for passengers, it's a leading cause of injury in the industry. If you can't lift the bag yourself, pay the damn checked baggage fee.

The weaker Baht is at least helping with inflation here. I think I can speak for most people who receive monthly income from overseas, we're not complaing.

Me too. I've been riding a motorbike for over 18 years here, and ALWAYS wear my helmet, even for the two minute ride to 7-11.

In San Francisco, they make the naked guys carry towels to sit on, to avoid skid marks on chairs.

Respectfully disagree. My property has almost tripled in value since I bought it, beats the heck out of throwing away rent money.

In the US, even after they rob you, there's still a decent chance they'll shoot you.

This kind of behavior is happening all over the world's roads and even worse outcomes, best is to let things go, i know it's hard as often I myself get angry at other inconsiderate motorists but I allow for cool head to prevail.
I'm from California where this type of thing is an everyday occurrence, I learned a long time ago that honking or gesturing at other drivers can and will get you killed. Best just to let it go, and not worth dying for.
