No they didn't, that's an absolute lie.
METV was and still is $300. It's been like that for a number of many years already.
SETV was and still is $60. It's been like that for a number of many years already too.
The first thing I noticed looking at the OP and a new price list is that it still has multiple entry tourist visas quoted.
If this is upto date, I thought that the METV are no longer available?
So I don't believe any of the new prices.

Ok.
From what I can gather, the online tickets are only available via Krungthai Bank's Paotang app. If there are restrictions on foreigners purchasing online lottery tickets, and I am not saying that there are, it would seem that such restriction likely would come from KTB and not the GLO. I do not know whether KTB imposes such restrictions, but apparently the person whose post I quoted originally must have been told this was the case.
So perhaps the issue isn't whether foreigners are not allowed to purchase lottery tickets by the GLO, but whether KTB imposes limitations as their policy. Or perhaps the poster I responded to was given incorrect information.
Perhaps a foreigner who has registered with KTB's Paotang app and purchased online lottery tickets with it could advise.
I bank with Krung Thai and have their banking app.
To purchase GLO tickets via their app, you also need to download the Paotang app.
To then register with the Paotang app you need a Thai ID.
It doesn't automatically link your KTB account and doesn't accept Pink ID cards or passports for registration.
Hopefully they will update and change this in the future, so that foreigners can purchase online.

Yes, a few. I also chatted to some women. After 'hello', and 'my name is', very often then came: "I look for customers"/"I sell VDOs"/"I have no money. Can you send me X baht", etc. - And I know that Thai women generally find me attractive, so that's not it.

Anybody applied for a 60 day Tourist E-visa recently from the London embassy?
How long did you have to wait to receive an email confirmation?

Option 1.
SETV with 30 day extension.
No problem.
Has anyone had any problems on check-in at LHR when their return ticket is for longer than the initial period of stay permitted? Or are they aware that you can get extensions for 30days within Thailand.
Example: Tourist Visa 60 days but returning home after 89days.
Visa exempt 30 days but returning home after 59days.

Trying to decide which option to choose for a 90 day stay in Thailand for my parents.
UK and Irish passport holders. Both over 70 years old.
Option 1 - 60 day Tourist E-Visa then extend for 30 days at local immigration (1,900baht each)
Would there be a problem departing London or entering Thailand with return flights for 90 days later but E-visa is only 60 days?
Option 2 - Non O for visiting family in Thailand.
Option 3 - Non O based on being a pensioner.
Is health insurance and Covid-19 US$100,000 cover still required?
Just looking for the easiest, stress free, no drama's at check-in or immigration option.
Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received.
