Flying out with <1 day overstay, no fine, but a note in your passport that you overstayed by less than 24 hours (departing by air only, land borders charge from day 1).

Been that way since pretty well forever.

Should have no effect on any future entries or visas.

Thanks a lot. Planning to fly back in on Monday and thought i’d double check before getting on the plane. ?

  2. Hi,

i’m a Brit and flew out of Don Muang Airport. I overstayed a 30 day Permission to stay stamp by 9 hours (one day)

Before Immigration would simply charge 500THB and let you go on your merry way. I wasn’t charged the 500THB, which I thought was a result but noticed they had written something next to the stamp in my passport. (Attached, to the left)

Anyone know what it means? And has there been some changes in the rules?

    thanks for any help

  3. Hi, can anyone help with me?

I'm a Brit and i entered through Suvarnabhumi airport on 26/02/18 on a 30 day entry stamp. I now want to stay in Thailand for a further 5 months (end August)

I've been searching through my options on Thaivisa for obtaining a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa in a neighbouring country but there are many and some a bit confusing. I don't mind doing an overland if it's cheaper and really worth it.

Does anyone have their favourite routes/solutions they wouldn't mind sharing?

    Thanks for any help

  5. Hi, with all the turmoil going on and reports that some of the protest sites having being dismantled, where's the nearest/best place to get an extension to a tourist visa for a Brit.? I live at Fortune Town/Rama 9 MRT

Is Imperial World, Ladprao the best option for me? How far is it from the Ladprao MRT, is it too far to walk? I've looked at maps but difficult to judge.

    Thanks for any info

  6. Not too difficult to get to from Bangkok

plan on at least 6 hour in bus land/boat travel plus waiting connections. probably need an overnight in trat. dont know how often the ferry goes.

It's possible to fly to Trat. Then how long connection to the pier for boat and trip to Koh Kood?

  7. Hi,

I'm looking for a getaway vacation from Bangkok and someone suggested to me Koh Kood.

    My wish list is:

A beautiful island and beaches with some good diving and snorkeling

Peace and quiet with a little night life but definitely not too many tourists

Not too difficult to get to from Bangkok

How does Koh Kood measure up? Anyone been? What's your impression?

    Cheers for any info
