It is gold jewellery that i purchased in Europe. A broken chain, some bracelets and bits of old broken and cut off bits of gold jewellery. -
I have some old gold jewelry that i would like to sell on. I did read many years ago that China Town in Bangkok was the best place to go as they give you almost market price. Is this true? Does anyone have experience selling gold in Thailand? Are there other better places?

Keeping Thai Number for Thai Banking in UK
Steps replied to Steps's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
The other question that springs to mind is regarding the AIS app. In order to log in, the app sends you a OTP SMS to the number for you to log into the AIS app. Does this work in a foreign country? -

Key Visa - New UK passport application
Steps replied to Speedo1968's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
I used them recently for a renewal of my daughters passport. They will tell you everything that you need. Payment upfront. Send all the documents by recorded delivery. It took about 8 weeks due to this COVID business. Reliable and safe from my standpoint. -
Hi All, I am going back to the UK for a while and would like to know about keeping my Thai SIM card for Thai banking. I have AIS but remember reading somewhere that DTAC would be a better option. I think it was something to do with topping up but can't remember. Can anyone share there experience with this matter and elaborate on anything that i may not have thought about. Thanks

The glow plugs were dead. Once replaced, the truck started like new. Cheers

OK So just to wrap things up here for anyone who may have similar issues. I did find a decent little garage in town in the end. The issue was indeed down to the glow plugs and once replaced, now starts like a new truck. Thank you for the help and input. Happy motoring!!

I don't know if this was meant to be funny or not but this cracked me up 555. I can just picture you (an expat) there sitting in you recliner with a Leo in hand, smoking a pipe whilst the missus is building arches. "Hey love, a bit more to the left there with that one....." 55555

Yes we were thinking of that. Maybe intertwine some plants as well as grow plants and bushes along the perimeter. I have noticed that the land behind, where the neighbors are behind seems to be.... contaminated due to water running out of a drain from the bathroom. We will therefore grow plants there and use the "clean" land for the fruits and vegetables, herbs and spices.

More great info. Cheers

I agree in that if it was my own house, i would most definitely go for concrete. However, this is the missuses family home and i believe they would be happy to accept any help. I will therefore go for a more cost effective option but you are right, concrete is a more durable solution.

This is great info. I will keep this in mind when we go shopping in the next few days. Thank you.
