Not sure about BKK office but a buyer need a certificate of resident or proof of resident, then they may say you are not resident in that province to transfer to your name. But I think some people have done it, see two posts above...

I transferred mine to new province first , to Phuket,  then to my name, two steps. But you need all forms signed by seller,  plus a valid letter of power of attorney from him, then it's all easy. Shops selling bikes know exactly what you need, they gave me all the correct paperwork as I bought from a shop, and there was no problem...

I'm thinking of selling, not buying.  Meant to transfer to my province, but would have had to get a new reg number and I liked my old one ????

I doubt it will go much lower than it is now ~$18, it hasn't been as low as $10 since about 1974, they would just shut the taps if it started approaching that level, wellhead cost is higher than that for most producers

Low price will be a boom for China getting industry up and running again! we will see where it goes, been so many surprises so far, keeps us guessing!

It hit -$37 last night due to option coming to an end ????

    There is another William ...

Bill is short for William (William is his Sunday name) and he is living in Bang Saray from what I recall last time I chatted to him on FB, so yes, I would say he is the photographer ????

  4. Peter with AAinsure.net can get it insured.. my 2008 was insured last year without any issues.

    Kurt

Got it sorted with their Hua Hin office. Thanks mate. <deleted> steep though, 35k for 1st class and only 500k valuation. Means i get my bike Friday though, so happy enough.

  5. I finally moved back to Thailand after about 4 years away working and contacted my old insurance company Muang Thai to get some insurance and they refused saying the bike is too old at 2009 model. Can anyone recommend a company that will insure 'older' harleys.
