Not sure about BKK office but a buyer need a certificate of resident or proof of resident, then they may say you are not resident in that province to transfer to your name. But I think some people have done it, see two posts above...
I transferred mine to new province first , to Phuket, then to my name, two steps. But you need all forms signed by seller, plus a valid letter of power of attorney from him, then it's all easy. Shops selling bikes know exactly what you need, they gave me all the correct paperwork as I bought from a shop, and there was no problem...
I'm thinking of selling, not buying. Meant to transfer to my province, but would have had to get a new reg number and I liked my old one ????

I realise this is an old thread, but have a similar query. if my bike is registered in BKK, does the transfer need to take place there if I am selling it, or can it be done in Prachuap Khiri Khan since I live here now?

I doubt it will go much lower than it is now ~$18, it hasn't been as low as $10 since about 1974, they would just shut the taps if it started approaching that level, wellhead cost is higher than that for most producers
Low price will be a boom for China getting industry up and running again! we will see where it goes, been so many surprises so far, keeps us guessing!
It hit -$37 last night due to option coming to an end ????

Are you the photographer of this photo ?
A photo where there is bottom right the name of the photographer :
William Alexander Reid who is a woman : Megan ....

There is another William ...
but he is deadhttps://www.nwtarts.com/artist-profile/william-alexander-reid
Bill is short for William (William is his Sunday name) and he is living in Bang Saray from what I recall last time I chatted to him on FB, so yes, I would say he is the photographer ????

So they also issue non o multi entry based on marriage with no financial requirements?
I thought that was only possible in Savannakhet.
Yes they do, same as Savannakhet, but much less of a shithole to spend the night at.

I'm also oil and gas...I just flew the family to Ho Chi Minh for a few days holiday and sorted a non-Imm based on marriage while there. Dead easy and HCM is a nice place to visit.

It isn't required, but they do advise to add any extra documents to support your visa application and I had that available, so included it as well as my son's birth cert

Same as mine then...

Ok. Not complaining about it anyway, was just curious if it was a new thing or just a HCMthing.

1. I have a multiple entry visa
2. This is the 1st visa I've had with just an expiry date rather than a last entry allowed date and I'm on my 5th visa now.

Does your visa just have an expiry date instead of last entry allowed date on it?

Hi all,
I can recommend HCM if you are looking for a non immigrant O visa. Dropped my passport off yesterday morning at 08.45. There was only 2 others there when I arrived and they saw me straight away. Went to pick it up today at 13.30 and 5 people in front of me in the queue when I arrived at 13.27. Only had to wait 5 minutes for them to deal with the people before me and then I got my passport back with a shiny new visa in it.
In addition to the minimum required docs, I included a Thai bank statement and copy of my son's birth certificate which they added to my application.
One difference I noted is that there is no last entry allowed date, just a valid from and valid to date which is different to previous visas. I don't know if this is a HCM consulate thing, of if they just changed the format.
Spending a few days break with the family here beats the crap out of staying in Savannaket where there is nothing to do.

I finally moved back to Thailand after about 4 years away working and contacted my old insurance company Muang Thai to get some insurance and they refused saying the bike is too old at 2009 model. Can anyone recommend a company that will insure 'older' harleys.

Based in Hua Hin, you can currently arrange to pick up from soi 112 to save postage/packing, but they are opening a proper shop soon.
