Tycoon is Thai and he asked nicely not to talk Crab AKA Crap about Thai girls. It was a very sensible request. I’m not taking sides at all on this one. But I do know a lot of Thai people who object to that kind of talk. Not everyone is a taxi driver asking do you like Thailand for boom boom. Tycoon, understand old expats as well. They are very immature but a lot have good souls.

But stop and think about it for a while. Is that what you really want? Is your gf/wife poor back home? If so keep the kid there If she has money and can raise a kid with a little bit of your help. Sit down at the table and work things out. You can have more free time. Sounds all a bit stressful but try outsmarting her and make her think she has the upper hand. And see how things play out. she might have a change of heart.

Thought it was a 3erd world shit hole. Was begging my mom to get me back home. Thai people just freaked me out. no culture shock has I have lived in Asia. My cousins went to school here. So far 10 years later,

Nothing much has changed.

Interesting, were you on vacation with your family? Thai people freaked you out in what way?

Yeah it was kind of a vacation. Stayed around near Suk 22 in my aunties house. And it was kind of creepy also thinking maybe some one would abduct me, motorbike and tuk tuk drivers just staring at me. 2 young for girl but they try and talk with me. And some peoples over friendliness just smelt really fishy to me then. Now I know Thailand is safe and laid back now. But the cleanness has not got any better, the culture still dose not appeal to me, I keep it to my self but I just don’t get involved.

I've noticed dogs following homeless ppl down the road barking at them. Dogs also don't seem to like the ppl who go recycle from garbage, some of whom even carry food scraps to keep the dogs happy.

I have noticed that as well. I think the same as pumpuiman mentioned, dogs will just sense bad intentions of strangers and homeless. If there was something valuable and easy to take then they will…Unless they smell really really bad

Where are some easy to find Photo shops that will print passport sized photos after hrs. im heading out side around 6ish. Are they still open?? I live in ladprao, but was thinking of taxing to KSR or somewhere mid centre to find it. Anyone done passport photos at night time??

If you have a good computer just down loan the SNES Emulator and Down load SNES ROM files/games. I use Limewire P2P to download others do the trick too. Cost me 30 mins of my life to play some old school games.

I think I understand her post.

She feels in her mind that things are more dangerous then they seem. This is very common coming form all the urban legend stories and seeing crazy tourist get beaten up from picking fights with the locals. Have we all forgotten our 1st to second visits? Especially those who traveled alone and at a young age? Our guard is up but Thailand is still very attractive. This can take a lot of fun out of the adventure. But giving us attraction to come back again.

But really it was all in our heads and Thailand is a very safe plaices once we learn the simple rules, don’t pic fights, don’t take get involved with drugs, don’t use Bangkok taxis after 2 am and don’t accept drinks form strangers or you will wake up with kidneys missing, RoFl joke joke!
