Blind leading the blind id say,........did anyone else notice that at the exotic car showroom ? on sukomvit the cars in the window had been moved back in a row,,i wonder if it was for safety ,or so as not so show the disgusting amount of money sat in there,.....

My wife and I almost always fly First Class and we fly very often. I enjoy being able to have the luxury of getting a good sleep on the international configured First Class flat bed seats with personal TV screens and lots of legroom.

I wish I could tell everyone that I fly First because I am very rich and have nothing better to do with my money but the fact is that it is because I spent 35 years flying in "cockpit class" (now retired airline pilot), and one of the perks is that I am now able to fly anywhere virtually free. I must admit, however, that even when I was flying 'cockpit class', it was nice on long international flights as we carried a relief crew so got to sleep about half the trip in either a bunk bed in the cockpit or a curtained off seat in First Class. "Life is Good"

ps... Whether you go economy class or decide to spend ten times more money to go First Class, it really doesn't matter as everyone gets to the destination safely at the same time which is really what it is all about .

Sorry mate, where do you get this rubbish from, ive been stopped 2 times with a fair number of watches, each time they have taken them off me and ive gone on my way, not even a severe bollocking,. and every time after that i have carried back similar amounts,..in 10 years ive been stopped 4 times ,and at one time i was doing 8 trips a year,it is not a criminal offence to purchase copy items for self use,it would only become a criminal offence if you were offering said copies as genuine, ( in which case you deserve nicking ),show me one example of where anyone was charged vat on a copy for the real thing ?,. i wont hold my breath

How many did you have taken from you? When you think about it there must be hundreds of tourist that go home with a dozen watches as gifts, as well as plenty of other copied items.

Almost sounds racsist to me, "you farang, she thai," so what ?....sounds like one of them has a low opinion of farang,.unless there is something more to this story, i see it as bit odd,.

Well 5 of us went for lunch at the 18 coins in soi bakeow today,service was awful, one meal came at a time ( why do these kitchens only seem to be able to prepare one meal at a time ? ) .my friend ordered omelete and chips, no kidding the chips came 20 minutes after the omellete .i ordered chili con carne with chips, .you guessed it, the chips came 20 minutes before the chili,.all in all we were there 75 minutes before we were all served,.i like the food there but im sorry we wont be going again, i was looking at the sign for the "all day breakfast ". seems any meal there takes all day,.

I had one of these in the uk ( 2.2 5 cylinder ) when i went to spain i had the same problem, i was told they generate a lot of heat and the fuel vaporises ,if you keep it cranking it eventually fires ?. nothing to do with the cold start ( 6th injector ) .a friend of mine fitted a device that gave more pressure and seemed to cure it,. of course you may have a different problem altogether, but sounds familiar,.

Well, im told ( unofficially ) that he had a court case for fraud and a serious attempt at trying to run an investor in the business off the road,, and that his assets were ordered seized, ( maybe he was found guilty ? ) .it did seem like goods were being taken out of the premises,.i dont know the fellow but im hearing all sorts of bad reports and i feel glad we didnt buy there, .

On long haul i fly economy,take a heavy duty sleeping pill and for 10 hours dream what i will spend the money i saved by not flying business/first on,.

Went back yesterday to look at a bike we had seen in there and it looked for all intents and purposes like they have gone out of business, some official people who looked like they were doing an inventory were there, when i asked the lady where the boss was she replied in the uk ,and not sure when he will be back,..anybody know if its closing down ?

Apex's buffet

What's on it?

I had a great breakfast there yesterday. Eggs and bacon and all the usual extras. No baked beans though. Why? For the price it must be the best buffet breakfast in Thailand.

No Baked Beans at the Apex, because the apex buffet is American and Thai. Very good with French toast, pancakes, cresont rolls all the orange juice, milk etc to drink all for a price of 110 Baht. When in Pattaya I always visit the Apex for a breakfast Buffet.

We were told at the post office that international is not leaving thailand, i sent with TNT and they are going by road to malaysia then flying it on to the uk,/other destinations,i expect the others DHL etc are doing the same

Thats the way I,m going to look at it.Arrive in HK tomorrow to go to Bangkok, Tuesday. Thinking of flying to phnom phen and overland from there.Anyone know how easy (or hard) it is to get a bus from phnom phen to somewhere near Pattaya?
