Typically - I do dress - especiallyif going out...I have had made several Thai style shirts made, same style - different pattern/fabric for day and evening wear - blandish for day....fabric and patterns brighter/grander for times later than the dinner hour....if beyond that is required I have the Thai style outer 2 pocket shirt/jac at the ready along with slacks....if more is required have full dress suit and tux on standby
but have only needed once over the years.....fully shined shoes and dress sandals waiting for deployment.....have a list of colors needing selection for the next go-round as - #1 the wife wants to match and #2 - she wants the patterns also matching......so far the daughters get a pass but for the most part she keeps the family color co-ordinated.....Easier to go along with - save the bullets for a fight that counts.....
Need to be a bit careful with the dress colour coding. Still, it is genetic........................;b++){var>
I quite like what the guy is wearing in this picture. Nothing wrong with the flip-flops/sandals at the beach, otherwise I would change the footwear to suede loafers or espandrillos. This kind of clobber I wear in Thailand and always Rayban Wayfarer in the daytime of course.

I must say I like some of Stevie Wonder´s early stuff. So many musicians I dislike, but first of all Bono/U2 and Sting springs to my mind.
Yes, Sting was awful, did you really think my first post with Stevie Wonder was good????
What can I say, I own the 7 inch, I like this song and it worked on the dancefloor when dj-ing.
Maybe you like Bill Cosby´s take on this one better, but he is more talking than singing. Have this as a 7 inch as well, but prefer Wonder´s original.

I like flip-flops and socks together with a leggings-jeans which I see many times in Thailand.
Maybe one day I will be brave enough to wear this ensemble, but I`m in doubt about it

There has been lots of good music during my lifetime and the 80s was probably as good as the 60s.
Rap sucks iMO, but only because the music in the background is usually so weak. Gangsters Paradise was a great tune MO, but don't hear many like that.
This is recognized as the first rap song. And jolly good it is too.
I think, this is the only Rap song I know. And which music turned back to 60s? I mean there are always a few 60s garage bands or maybe "Mod bands" around, but it is pretty underground after the small 60s revival in the 80s. But otherwise...?

Hmmm distrust in thai girls...yes because lesson learned. No need to make same mistake again and again IMHO.

Top North Guesthouse at moon Muang Soi 2 is in this price range. They have a small pool. I stayed there at my first visits in CM 10 or so years ago and it was okay. Maybe the rooms are a bit tacky already?

I will leave Chiang Mai on monday to go to Krabi. How about sandflies at long beach/pan beach? On some beaches they like to attack me, like (unfortunatly) on my favourite island koh jum.
-
These days they have them in denim or navy already, no need to dye anymore 555. In Chiang Mai you could find decent looking dessies at Findig, and cheaper than Clarks. But I know, for the proper mod it has to be Clarks. At the Rincome Market near Maya there is one stall, which sells Clarks (now made in Vietnam) as well, not sure if they have desert boots.

Okay I see, you talk about the province. The city itself have a population of 69.888 (2012),
if we can trust Wikipedia.
-
Population of 300.000? That means it is bigger than Chiang Mai already.
I have been to CR 2 weeks ago but somehow it still feels much smaller than CM.
-
I always thought this beach (across the river) is called long beach. Never been there and want to check it out on my next trip to Krabi in one week. Usually i´d like to go to Nopparatara or Khlong Muang beach which is a bit more far but pretty quiet.

Pun Pun are still at Wat Suan Dok (Suthep Rd) and behind Ton Payom Market. Not sure about the one near Airport Plaza on Hang Dong rd, was closed last time i checked.
About 2 weeks ago there was no Pun Pun at Wat Suan Dok anymore. Or maybe there change location...

Yesterday night lots of police at Zoe area at 11 p.m. Too early for check closing time, so probably another drug test or something like this.
Anyway party mood was over for most folks then.

Never heard of this one. But Dave Edmunds did have a big hit in the UK back in the seventies. I can't remember the song.
His big hit was "I hear you knocking" which is an okay song, but not his best imho. Every LP of him in the seventies had a couple of good and strong Rock´n´Roll/Pub-Rock songs.
