yep exactly , live on payoonroad myself for nearly 5 years now (part time) just a hop from the beach. love this place and close to Pattaya and Rayong

Difference is when holding the house and not the land tittle it still give you the right to keep living on the land even when the land get sold ,(falls under land lease act rulling) On the pappers of our house my name is even on it whit a explenation of my rights and that i have these right untill i pass away, than the house will pass to my children.

i lost my tyre 2 last summer holiday and also i was home and money was deducted from my account .i try to contact them many times but never get any result they just ripp you off

after month or so i got email they charged for the tyre i asked a official bill to try to make my travel insurange cover the cost but they just told me that it was not possible to geive me any pappers. so just a big ripp off and more will follow

Many would probably prefer facing the death penalty than a life sentence in Thai prison. I think the BIGGER human rights issue for Thailand is improving the living conditions in their prisons.

just kill them , if they did crimes that deserve the death penalty , just execute them without any form of pity. You need to think about there victems . keeping those criminals alive only just cost the comunity more and victems of those people never find rest if they stay alive . and yes the death penalty has a effect on crime but you need to inforce it correctly to make it work and not convict them and lett them be in jail for 10-20 years.

its bit far away but first glance i would say it was a rat snake , they are poisenous but not deadly to humans. its these snakes cobras

prey upon. normaly removing hiding places from garden will keep them away because no hiding places (weeds, rubbish and old pots)

i cant say this is so over all of thailand but me im living in northeastern seaboard just passed pataya and last 5-8 years with more and more russians comming in and acting like they own the place and treating people like shit , The growing ripp-offs and scams everywere and more and more thai treating us a smilkcows my family and i are thinking of relocating to cambodia

Thai goverment would do better to see what people they atract as tourists , people from russia and india will bring in the fast cash now but will cost them dearly in due time. the tourist market is maybe growing in those countrys but in its losing market share in europe , more are looking to vietnam and maleisia and this for the same price.

We seen the same with russian comming into europe after comunism fall and the flooded all spanish and portugeuse beaches, this is now passed because most russian tourist are not welcome anymore in many places so they are looking to other destinations like our beloved thailand. such a shame (and yes im not verry funned of russians this due to several problems in my restaurant)

i love it when i hear people talk here about thaksin goverment to be legit in the present and in the past i hear the word democracy but i guess lots of thai are ignorent to what the meaning of a democracy is. not even thai know i think , take some good advice just take taxi or minibus from airport to Pattaya or Rayong and take bus from there, it will save lots of time and misery. if you have some experiance with thai busses you will know this. and im not sure but i think you cant take bus from airport direct but need to head towards BkK for that.

yes for some country,s its possible to get thai nationality is that country have agrement with thailand , (i know belgium have a one) you still need need to do a long list of other thing before they issue your citizinship

Why is it that some foreigners, farang or otherwise, who are not even eligible to vote, are so passionate in either their attack or defence of various politicians? At the end of the day, as one poster commented, democracy is where we are all freely allowed to vote, whether it will proved right or wrong.

A general question: would you vote for someone who would benefit the country but is detrimental to you personally, or would you vote for someone who would benefit you personally but detrimental to the country?

I dont say the current goverment is best for Thailand , but one thing is for sure the thai people are better of with Thaksin staying in Dubai!! office say they cant do anything serious about the problem , they will only make a extra area so people can put the garbage away safely , this way no junk laying around in village so snakes can hide under. i do intend to get the discussion going on next village meeting with office untill they do all what is possible to prevent this in future ( for so far it is possible)

for the momment its just the farang who are pushing office most thai still remain in background (t.i.t)
