What's your experience in the hotel industry? With your experience it's not likely. Possible to get in banking selling financial services, but a lot of people on this board hate people like that. You could teach biology and science at an international school. Teaching is not restricted to just teaching English.
hmm..interesting
i worked in a hotel for a few months once a long time ago thats all.
teaching biology sounds like it could be a winner. ive never taught before though, dont you need teaching qualifications/experience to work in thailand?

I am English and have a degree in Molecular biology. I have two years work experience in Banking and Administration.
I'm thinking maybe I could be an english teacher, or hotel worker,...?
Anyone got any ideas?

I am plannig on coming out to Thailand in January 2009 to work as an English teacher.
I have BSc degree and English is my first lanuage.
Should I do the TEFL online course before coming out to Thailand?
My experience of teaching English is very limited and was wondering what the best area for me would be? Yong children or Adults? University or private?
Thanks

...I'm a British citizen (28) that would quite like to move to Thaialnd to live and work.
Is there any way this would be possible?
Yes, it is possible. All you need is a job in Thailand. Some types of work are prohibited for foreigners (see here, page 18) but for the rest you are free to take any job for which a company in Thailand wants to employ you.
