My Thai partner and I were married during Loy Khrathong in 2011 and have been together since early 2004. I found ThaiVisa Forum while doing internet searches for ways to learn about Thailand and Thai language and culture. We make our home in western Phetchabun province, although we are actually closer to the city of Phichit than to the city of Phetchabun.

I don't get home as often as I would like, but would always look forward to getting together and socializing with local expats and their wives. I've worked in the engineering and technology fields for many years, and currently work in the data center business. I've lived and worked in many countries throughout North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and am currently working stateside.

In no particular order, I believe:

- everyone is entitled to their own wrong opinion.

- that left alone, the free markets and the invisible hand of self-interest will solve more problems and better serve the public at large than any government ever has or ever could.

- that governments should be in the business of governing, not in the business of running businesses.

- government lotteries are just another way to get the poor man to pay taxes.

- people should generally be left alone to do what they want to do, so long as they don't cause any harm or imposition to me or anyone else.

- in the "Free to Choose" teachings of the late, great Nobel laureate Dr. Milton Friedman ( http://www.miltonfri...n.blogspot.com/ ).

- in the small government, libertarian views of the great economist Dr. Walter E. Williams ( http://www.gmu.edu/d.../economics/wew/ ), especially his lectures on "Economics for the Citizen" and his enlightening documentary "The State Against Blacks."

- the books "Liberty and Tyranny" and "Ameritopia" by the Great One, Mark Levin, are two of the greatest works on the loss of the American civil society as we once knew it.

- the social, political, race and economic insights and commentaries of the great Thomas Sowell ( http://www.jewishwor...ols/sowell1.asp ).

- the concept of man-made global warming is the biggest fraud being thrust upon free societies today (and the last several years of weather trends are proving this to be correct).

- in the concept of Pascal's Wager ( http://en.wikipedia....cal's_Wager ).

- the United Nations is one of the most corrupt fraudulent organizations in the world.

- America is rapidly heading toward socialism like western Europe.

- the American constitution and its amendments (The Bill of Rights) are some of the most important documents in the history of men, and are under assault by the radical left.

- the radical leftist Obama is the worst President in US history and just enough American idiots voted to re-elect him. God help us and God help the USA.
