Nong Khai / Vientiane Bridge - open or not?
ubonjoe replied to smartecosse's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The list for Thai and Non Thais appear to be the same on the Thailand Pass site. But it could be that Non Thai are really only for those from the country the crossing is from for some crossings. -
Just another case of calling a visa exempt entry a visa on arrival. A visa exempt entry is for 30 days and a visa on arrival is for 15 days after applying for it and paying a 2000 baht fee for it. See this list for both of them. List of countries for visa exempt and visas on arrival dated October 2021. The UK is shown on the 30 day visa exempt entries.

TM30 Landlord Registration
ubonjoe replied to London Fog's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The online system is for one residence to be reported not the name of the owner of the property. There would be no chance of it mixing up residences being reported. -

A TM27 is only for reporting a change of address. You will not be changing addresses. -
650 baht Insurance is not 650 baht
ubonjoe replied to Wandr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You will need insurance to enter the country. It does not matter how long you stay out of the country and a yellow house book means nothing when entering the country. -
Laos Nationals entering Thailand
ubonjoe replied to smartecosse's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That would need a to apply for a Thailand Pass unless they are using a border pass for a short stay in Thailand from what I have seen in the news. -

TM30 28 and a house master responsibility
ubonjoe replied to LivinLOS's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You have not changed addresses so it would not be needed. At the most they may want a TM30 report to change the name of the person that did the previous TM30 report. -
There is no minimum salary for a work permit. For a extension of stay the minimum salary for most people from western countries 50k baht. From immigration order 327/2557. If married to a Thai you can use you income from working to meet the 40k baht income requirement to apply for a extension based upon marriage to a Thai.

TM30 28 and a house master responsibility
ubonjoe replied to LivinLOS's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
A TM28 form is not longer used for a change of address. It was replaced by a TM27 form 2 years ago. A new TM30 form is no longer required unless you change addresses. You would not need to provide proof there is new owner of your residence until you do your next extension if they wanted a rental agreement previously when you did it. -
When do the Thailand Pass application you will not need a corvid 19 test if you are fully vaccinated. The LA site apparently forgot to mention that when they updated their site. You do need to check with airline you will be traveling on to confirm they do not require a corvid 19 test to board your flight. Some may only require a antigen test.

TM30 28 and a house master responsibility
ubonjoe replied to LivinLOS's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Since you are not technically changing address most offices may not want a TM30 report. Most office will only want a TM30 report for a change of address. You may not need to do anything until you apply for your next extension to prove your address. -
Advise: Non-O Thai visa online
ubonjoe replied to waxpro's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You would apply for the visa at the designated embassy for the country you are in. Perhaps check this list of embassies to determine which one you would apply to https://www.thaiembassy.org/. Then you could check to find out if you can use the e visa site (https://thaievisa.go.th/) by selecting. You may also be able to apply for a visa by mail to the designated embassy. -
650 baht Insurance is not 650 baht
ubonjoe replied to Wandr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Not for a person that is fully vaccinated starting today. -
The chances of it ever being removed from the forum are very small unless it was removed shortly after being posted for a violation of the forum rules. At the most it could be archived to where replies are no longer allowed. I am aware of topics that are still saved going back more than a decade or more.

Nong Khai / Vientiane Bridge - open or not?
ubonjoe replied to smartecosse's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Why are you asking about crossing the bridge after arriving in Bangkok. Is Laos your intended destination? If your are fully vaccinated you can enter Thailand now with any quarantine being needed now. The bridge from Nong Khai to Vientiane has been open for some time now but you must enter as part of tour group.
