  1. I did one for the office here and got a confirmation email within minutes.
  2. A off topic post with only a video in it has been removed.
  3. Yes they will. They are not using the e visa website at the embassy or official consulate in Vietnam. Info is here on the consulatge website. https://hochiminh.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/tourist-visa?page=5d80ab3315e39c2fe800a791&menu=5d80ab3215e39c2fe800a722
  4. Where did you get your new passport? Here from your embassy or in your home country? I think it will be different if you left the country showing both passports and then returning with both of them.
  5. Most offices only want a TM30 report to change your address now. TM28 was replaced with a TM27 form that is only for a change of address after they eliminated the reporting of a stay in another province for more than 24 hours.
  6. This is what the USPS tracking shows for mine. The first one was being updated regularly before.
  7. Best to use USPS tracking after it leaves the country. https://www.usps.com/ Thailand post tracking will not show anything until it is delivered. Mine is in limbo according to USPS. It has only shown in transit for a week now. Mailed on July 18th.
  8. It has been fixed. But you will only get any new notifications. The old one will not be sent since that would overload the system.
  9. Either they did not do it or they finished earlier. Just checked and the 90 day reporting site is working as of a few minutes ago. Same for the TM30 reporting site.
  10. She was certainly wrong. See this from the Immigration website. https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/6.FOR-PROVIDING-SUPPORT-TO-OR-BEING-A-DEPENDANT-OF-A-THAI-CITIZEN-SPOUSE-VISA-NON-O.pdf Edit: Same for retirement: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf The embassy in Washington and the 3 official consulates are using the e visa site. It is entirely done online. You upload your passport and etc to do the application and you get the visa by email.
  11. Is your friend a Korean citizen? If yes did he enter visa exempt and get 90 day stay under a bilateral agreement. If not Is he on a tourist visa or did he enter visa exempt?
  12. If you get a multiple entry non-o visa it will remain valid to leaved and enter the country every 90 days.
  13. Yes But you will need to show a photo of you and your wife and the children together.
  14. Example of the letter from the bank confirming you account is here. bank letter.pdf
  15. The tech guys are aware of the problem and working to resolve it.
  16. Best to attach the tambien baan separately. The statement can be in Thai or English. No need for the chanote.
  17. Yes Requirements are here: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf
  18. Hit post to quick in my previous post, Your wife will need to write a statement that she wants you to apply for the extension and you will be living with her. Where are you applying for the visa at? You could upload anything that has your address on if it there is a embassy and official in the country where you are applying at.
  19. Tha 10,000 pound requirement is for a non-o visa application for retirement. That has been a error on the e visa site for some now. Upload proof of the equivalent of 20,000 baht or more.
  20. Are you asking about the 60 day extension or the one year extension of stay. There is no under consideration period for the 60 day extension.
  21. You only need 20k baht in a bank to apply for a non-o visa at the embassy. That is the standard amount needed for a visa application.
  22. See number one in my post. Many offices start the 30 days on the under consideration stamp from when the current extension ends.
  23. 1. Apparently the office where you apply for your extension start the 30 day under consideration period from the end of your current extension. 2. No Have you applied for a 60 day extension to visit your wife since your last entry with a non-o visa? If not that may be your best option. It would be valid for entry until November and you could apply for your one year extension then. You would to get a re-entry permit that would be valid to the day the 60 days end. 3. If you left without a valid re-entry permit your extension be finished when you leave the country. And you could get a visa exempt entry and the apply for a new non-o visa at immigration. 4. Not if you have a departure stamp in your passport.
  24. The TM30 rules were changed in 2020. A TM30 report is not longer needed unless you change your address that you use at immigration or you enter the country with a new visa.
