And, as another poster said they are building more and more around the lake so that means more outages from the little boxes . so its good for the beaches to be cleaner how that will be done i have no idea

the original water [not solid waste] over flow from Thai constuction.s went through culverts to a 'klong' a settlement lake normaly full of water plant's the natural bacteria ate the bad stuff and the water went into the ground, you will see some klongs still in the Rawai area but along Visit road they are being filled in to make building land. and the out flow from the bar shops houses as you come down the hill from Chalong is very bad, plus all around the Saiyuan area the culverts and pipes are blocked as more building takes place

plus walk along the beach road in Rawai towards the or bor tor offices and the stench from the drain, is. to say the least ,ripe and there does not seem to be a klong at the end so bad stuff is flowing through the new drains into the river to the far end of the beach, there are concerns over the beach wall collapse.near nikita's i think that is the least of the problems sorry this has wandered on riley 96

A deep bore is definately out of the question. I will demand some answers and an inspection from the water department. Heading over there on monday and dragging a team back here to inspect it. We are after all paying for this shitty p water so I think they at least owe us that.

They say the soil filters out the chemicals etc ??? I do have a bio filter. I feel there are so many people useing the water supply and it increases daily . that it can only get worse yes it was.. easy for us having our own well untill!!

A deep bore hole cost's approx 190.000 plus, on phuket . i had one drilled including pump and pipes in Isarn for 26000 . I wait for rain every day in the hope the water suplly will last accross the island for all of us riley 76

there is another two steak sam kong places. the first called steak 59 a ittle futher up from the first steak sam kong to wards the BKK internation on your right as you leave steak samkong, its good and, although all these were partners i like this better, plus there is also 'steak rawai' on saiyuan road it looks small but has an air con room it's on the right just past the old Dons place,heading towards kata all the people who run these eateries were working on the same cruise ships many years ago steak Rawai is good as is the one on home pro in fact all the steak places are good riley 76

next i had a sound like a dry bearing on the clutch ,i had driven through a flood , it lasted for a day or so and went away?

now i have a judder on engaging first gear .but not always? i tried the clutch to see if worn, by, hand brake on full and engage first gear it pulls well it dose'nt stall it , but i still get the judder sometimes on normal take up idea's please is the linkage hydrualic or cable

The optician i recomend and have used over the years is Somsac optic110 Rassada road phuket town.

best directions i can give, the Head Bangkok bank, is on Phang Gna Road

Rassada road is the road behind running paralell you can walk through on the link road

Drive past the bangkok bank turn right at the traffic lights, turn right again at the next light's , you are on Rassada

Somsac opticians is on the left just after you enter the road, if you are lucky you can park on the left a little futher on

Very deep pot holes in the main road in front of one of the major attractions for tourists on the island.

Yesterday i was returning to kata from Patong, and was being 'harried to get out of the way'.

by one of those white mini buses, they think they are kings of the road, always speeding, they get upset when fully loaded with passengers

if you impede passage way , also when empty. I was unable to cross to my right . and avoid the holes that i knew were there, but could not see.

a the Mini bus was trying to overtake, even with traffic coming down the hill i dropped my left front wheel in a hole and felt the truck falter. i thought, there goes my suspension. i might lose a wheel. How ever, as i had been forced to stop, the mini thingy shot out, and on a high note, dropped its front wheels into holes i saw the idiot.'s shocked face, as he dropped his windows. I would like to see on Phuket island. that which i belong to, in chiangmai. municiple volunteers,[ Chiang Mai friends] where like minded thais and forigners. join together to help the city and province.
