  1. Hi All,

I went by today and everything is operating as normal except the food court and beer garden. I saw a sign on the beer garden area Closed Inprovements Reopen Feb. 1. There was a large screen TV behind where the band plays on the stage area in operation. I guess it might still be open for a while yet. I will check it out on Feb. 1, and report on the status. Aloha, Dennis

  2. Hi All,

I just got back from the Night Bazaar and they are packing up at the Beer Garden, Food Court and Entertainment Area. Tonight is the last night for this area, not sure about the rest of the place. Several food shops and some of the beer shops are already closed and everything removed. I will really miss this place, I walk over to get my exercise and relax for a meal, couple of beers and entertainment. Anyone with further updates please post, Also if any suggestions of a similar venue in the area?

  3. Hi Everyone,

Well I finelly made it. I'm here in Bangkok made it in last night. My wife checked with Bangkok Hospital before I got here and they told her that for out paitaint service we have to pay tthen file for reinbursment. If hospitalized they bill blue cross direct. Again Thanks to everyone who provided Info. and help. Maybe I might run into you at the next Thai Visa party. I think I just missed the last one, I didn't get a chance to see how it went yet.

  4. Hi,

Thanks to everyone for the info you provided. I guess it answered my question and I will have to pay medical bills in full and file to get reimbursed. Did anyone do that with this insurance? If so how long does if take for them to reimburse you? Approximately how much did they cover? I don"t really have the option of taking insurance offered by Thai Visa because my former employer is paying part of the insurance and I can only pick from the providers they offer. Thanks again for all the help. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. I'll be there soon.

  6. Hi,

I will be retiring and moving to Bangkok in a few weeks. I was wondering if anyone has Blue Cross & Blue Shield health insurance from the US. I am planning on using Bangkok Hospital as they are listed as accepting this insurance. Can anyone tell me how the billing is done? Do they bill the insurance direct and bill you for any balance or do you have to pay and then file a claim with the insurance? Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
