  1. But I was a gold member and made well 1,000 posts, where have they gone to?
  2. They changed the drink driving laws in Australia over the years. The original term drunk driving was challenged in the courts and many people beat it. Then came driving under the influence and that was thrown out for much of the same reasons. Then came the driver was driving whilst exceeding the legal limit, that has lasted for a long time because if you were drunk or not the person was over the legal limit
  3. Up until the new update I was a gold member, when I checked my AN account this morning I was an apprentice member (3/14). So I used my email address and I got the right user name and I clicked on the lost password to get a new password. That done I proceeded to log in and I'm still an apprentice member. So I clicked on follow managed content and I've lost all the previous posts there except for ones I did today.
  4. This isn't a sleeper account, the reason I used it more in 2025 was the fact the as I'm now 80 yo I'm not as mobile as I used to be. So I have a lot more free time to be in Asean Now. My main issue is that I've gone from being a gold member to an apprentice member, so I've lost all my previously stored data. Some I referenced for medical issues.
  5. I just checked I should be a gold member but since the recent major update I'm an apprentice member. I currently have 22 posts, that's one every year. I joined in 2004 so all my previous ratings were first class up till now.
  6. Since the recent update I've lost nearly everything. I joined up in 2004 and now I'm only classed as an apprentice member with whereas prior to the update I was a silver member. I've tried 2 different email addresses with basically the same results.
  7. My condo is 50 metres just off Naklua Road. For the last 3 days ambulances have been going past at an astonishing rate. I seemed to be getting woken up every 30- 40 minutes in the night time, the days aren't much better.
  8. When I drink in bars or at home I drink it straight out of the bottle. I only drink out of a glass where the bar has draught only. The downside of draught is if the bar owner gets a manifold made up, he can get 2 barrels to work in unison. One beer and one water, not that I'm suggesting that any Thai bar owners would do that.
  9. I totally agree FruitPudding, I've been married to a Thai for 22 years. I met her family and did all the good things and I lasted 2 nights. I've since realised that the best thing to come out of Korat is the highway back to Bangkok or Pattaya.
  10. Why do Thai ladies drop their moral standards when they're in other countries. This would neverr happen in Thailand the hub of the " squeaky clean "
  11. Hypothetical. if the MFP were to get 100% of the votes at the next election, what next?
  12. It appears that it's who's up who and who's paying the rent.
