Most people do not realize just how good FireFox is IMO...I have used it since it was released in2004.... in less than a year, it was downloaded over 100 million times. Yes no trouble with Youtube

They go to work -- even though they go on a holiday Visa, pay what ever fine when they come out after a year or so-- 4 from our Village in the last year--& no they didn't go to work bar, Believe me, I have seen them-they wouldn't get a job in an Issan bar. There is constant demand in the electrical (TV assembly etc) industry. There is an area in Soul Yeouido-dong, which they call little Thai--- Thai Restaurants shops etc all over . Just as the cheap Lao's work force (mainly female) comes across into Issan and onward's--- so the Thai go there....& other places.

No wonder you have got 9 or 10 confused with your post. How on earth does it help the good of the nation to have a convicted criminal doing easy time, instead of the extra lenient sentence he got anyway, 8 years reduced to 1 year and -I think we all know its a---just wait in comfort in this hospital for the kings birthday, when most prisoner under a year get released.--but whatever you do , dont actually get put into a prison cell.................................. "For the good of the Nation".......

I had this last year Howard --- did you pick out what replacement you wanted ? A friend just had the standard Metal after 22 years he is having problems , I paid the extra for a ceramic, of course the top one is Titanium, but thats expensive and will well out last you. I also had the operation while awake---seems to be the way they like to do things now days--- no pain but the operating theater its very cold after an hour or so . I had it in Issan.

I agree with you....... Every time there is any positive news about Thailand , you get this chorus of posters who are eager to tell you its all lies / proper gander, place isn't as good as #*$% or xyz Yet many of these same people ,sold their house took their savings and came to live here........ does your head in reading them...............

I came here permanently just when the internet was really getting into gear---- 97, So I can imagine how much duller it would have been long term without it. It,s not an exaggeration to say its has been life changing. Now you can live in lovely rural areas, & not be missing out on anything. You still get woken up by the P̄hū̂h̄ıỵ̀b̂ān giving you news that you downloaded the day before...... But without internet---maybe there would be more boring times.

Which ever way you cut it Scouse---you would be a lot better off then 99.9% of the population that your explaining to, just how tough life was in the west ..........
