  1. I live in my condo in NaJomtien and last year went to Municipality to pay the reduced property tax without having gotten a bill.

Never ever received a bill. So should one wait for the bill or go again without being billed?

  2. Spent a few days in Chang Mai some years ago in January, remember the best foot massage and that we had to go to hotels and a shopping mall to get some breathable air. I decided never to return and stayed at the beach front for good. But since it was terrible with air pollution even there this
year I am looking for a different country to sit out the burning season.

  3. Isn't a PCR test used for finding virus fragments? So what is the confusing talk about antibodies?

I would expect a positive PCR test after vaccination anyway as AZ mRNA makes your cells to factories of virus fragments, spikes from the docking proteins of the virus to bind to your cells. That way you produce your vaccination in your own cells yourself. These proteins your cells produced induce the immune response and your antibodies against this protein then block the virus from docking if you later get infected.

  4. Today March 23rd driving license for foreigners at Chonburi Land Transportation Department next to Regents Int. School. My license is valid until June 18th.

Arrived 07:40 about 80people waiting outside seated under the blue canopy. No need to wait there as foreigners have to get a number from inside.

Official opening hours 08:30 till 16:30

At 08:00 getting ready to open main entrance where you have to walk under a spray, get your temperature checked a drop of disinfectant in your hand and draw a number from the dispenser located 3 meters inside on the right side of the entrance. No need to draw a number if you have an appointment for the day. Proceed to first floor and hand over your number and papers to get them checked.

The contingent for the day was already full although I had number one and the next available date was for April 20th. Two available slots per day at 9am and 2pm, each for ten applicants only. I choose the last available of the 10 for the morning. Got my papers checked including health certificate, all was stapled together with a slip indicating when I am due to show up again.

You might consider getting your papers ready earlier than planned.

  5. Beggars can't be choosers, so when paying I can choose which one of the vaccinations is best to confront my immune system with or decide not to get vaccinated because I might already have had the virus for I possibly have antibodies. Everybody knows that getting Dengue a second time is worse than the first time. Who can tell that you are not being primed for a bad autoimmune response when getting the shot after already having been naturally primed as 85% do not experience any symptoms or very mild ones when infected with the natural virus. Ever heard of deadly zytokin reaction?

  6. I used to watch BBC's Hard Talk but stopped after this awfully biased interview with a Hong Kong official in which he was lectured on democracy for the people of Hong Kong, totally ignoring the fact that Britain had 100 years to implement democracy in Hong Kong and now is wailing about the lack of it, totally ignoring the fact that Hong-Kong today has more of democracy than the occupier ever had granted. MSM = BBC sucks

  7. You also have to consider allergy against preservatives. Have you ever realised that there are no flyes at any market? Go to any country around Thailand and the markets are swarming with flyes. Years ago Formaldehyd was used to treat fish and shrimp, also
Alaun is still used today, this even was shown on TV as the means of treating a popular sea cucumber salad. What aluminium salt is doing to a babies brain is really awful.

  8. For more than 10 years I have been using Stiebel Eltron 4 cartriges filter system. It works without RO therefore does not need electricity or an extra pump nore UV. The water is neutral in taste has no odor and is free of germs and viruses because the pores are 0.01 micron only. Metals and pestisides are removed by two carbon cartriges. I need 4 to 5 liters a day and am very happy with my system. Yesteray I ordered new cartriges via Lazada for 3.650.-- and they last for more than a year.

  9. Even in Europe one has to have certain tests done before surgery may it be HIV Hepatitis etc. Why not have a Covid test too? If the hospital needs it for a procedure it is deemed as part of it and is picked up by your insurance anyway. If you have none I would try to negotiate if the price is way off.

  10. For drinking water I have Stiebel Eltron 4 filter system with the fourth cartridge having 0,01 micron but tap is filtered only 0,5 micron without charcoal. Others seem not to have trouble like mine wh their plants. Could be that when I bought the plants and had them potted at the nursery the soil that was used is just bad.

On the other hand I have the same problem at my second condo with plants but there water is from a well and runs through reverse osmosis. The same variety of plants turn brown when I give a good watering twice a week or just a little every day or second day.
