That's for those with CW as their IO.

If you report to another IO, you need to look up their address on their local website.

It is your local IO that checks and approves your on-line 30 day report, hence the delay in approval when doing the notification over the weekend.

if were to go to Phuket and stay for 6 month, i need to do 90days report at Phuket address, even though my year extension was done in bangkok

This resulted in you having to apply directly for the 90-day Non Imm O Visa from your Amnesty extension (without the option to apply first for the 30-day extension which would have provided you a valid permission to stay).

But luckily IO at CW was willing to accept your 90-day Non Imm O Visa application, even with you being on the Amnesty.  However they charged you 23.000 THB for that 'service'.

My question > Is the above rendering correct?  Or did I misunderstood something?

You also wrote that you did meet the financial requirements for your application, so IO only had to 'overlook' the fact that you applied from an Amnesty extension instead of from a 'valid' permission to stay (which your 30-day extension could have provided you).

this section also confuse me too, your financial requirement was in place, unless there's something else

  3. stuation before, had multiple non-o, 90 days entry expired, 60 days extension visit family expired, and on amnesty till 31st july

went to CW this morning, front desk told come back on 31st july, just give me my damn ticket nobody ask you (well not in that un-polite manner), wait for almost 1hr, see IO, turn in document everything was there even money in bankx2, IO look at my bank book, flipping the page back and forth many time turn behind her gave the bank book to big boss behind, big boss return bank book to IO and stand around while IO process paper work, big boss ask you have 12 million baht in bank are you planning to buy condo, told her i already bought a house, she smile, stamp stamp come back in 2 week.

The applicant is well aware of what the agent can do in securing, let's say a retirement extension.

Therefore the applicant is just as guilty as the visa agent and the IO.  No ifs or buts.

i understand, but once it is stamp on your passport by an IO officer, it is legal 100%, who are we to say what IO must do, they have the power to approve what ever they want, doesn't matter if or not

  5. Agent are 100% legal in thailand they are your representative, what they can do to help you is their problem, unless they stamp it themself that is illegal, if immigration approved, doesn't matter how they do it its 100% legal, who are we to say what they can or cannot do.

the problem is people does not want to pay the hefty fee, if you don't want to pay, you are on your own, thailand elites cards is an agent working with immigration with more power and higher cost

Seeing as we've got 4 pages devoted to hearsay, I heard from a couple of local orchardists that the local head honcho has assured them the border is opening 1 August. I live 5k from the border and Cambodian labour is seemingly integral to the fruit season.

poipet border is already open only for local to do their business, they are testing the water, but the rayong situation is not helping

It will be chaos in the immigration offices if they allow everybody to extend for 30 days so if they are going to extend the "Amnesty" it (& I think/hope they will) they should again extend it for free or at least find some other mechanism to pay the 1,900 THB

i'm pretty sure how to make money in time this this is also in the back of their head, ofcourse free is always best for us, but to make them feel more comfortable middle ground is best, online appointment prevent overcrowd

I think it's wishful thinking, because Thai immigration doesn't really condone "border runs" for Non-O visa holders, although they've obviously used to tolerate them for a long time.

condone or not, it is not againt the law, people enter wilth lawfully correct visa etc..., how they exist or enter is also not illegal in anyway, that is why nothing has change for decade now, every immigration office have a mind of their own and so does check point border

  9. if they don't they will have a giant mess on their hand, overcrowded immigration, massive ovestay problem, deporting multiple national with what plane to send them back too and detention will have a cost, but mostly they will have overstay problem, people will do anything to stay with their family even risking it. (my opinion) anybody have anything else to add? the reason i think this is to keep people in one place, the less movement the better, the more movement the more spreading the virus

let them extend 30days for 1900 from there on till normalcy, best is to keep everybody in place, no movement no spreading virus, best solution to be honest, they are willing to pay, i don't think they mind.
