  1. Based on my neighbours who have TOT, it's down too much... sad.png (I suppose it may vary area to area)

That is why I switched to 3 BB It's now been in for a month or so... not a problem, which what others have said .... thumbsup.gif .... The wifi works well too...

What do you pay for 3bb?im off the main road 500m,i need wifi box!in bangrak.

You pay one year in advance.... which works out to 828 baht a month (You get discount and only way to do it, I believe) But there are various options to speed... I think mine 13 mbs (hope that right term) .... but runs well.... say on Youtube etc. I don't do movies, so don't know for stuff like that... !!!

But it does include the installation and receiver / transmitter.... I forget the distance they will run the line... they have a bit of tolerance with distance, so you may not pay extra.... but a few baht a metre if too far.... Not sure what the subsequent years' prices will be....

Just stop in to 3BB office, outside, Tesco Chawang.... and ask... not too bad for service there! They set me with connection next day... thumbsup.gif

    Ok will pop in there.

  3. Have taken it to the guy but says have to wait 2 years to unlock it!my friend has had it 2 years already in the uk and has just been given an i phone 5 on new contract,so any more info on how or Whare to get it unlocked otherwise it is useless to me!

  4. Is this for a new installation of power to a house or to replace an existing pole that is US ?

Does that price include the pole, wire and connection ?

Quote is 30,000b for new meter, put new 8m pole and take down 300m of cooper cable and move it to replace an old ali cable(200m)

  5. OK - that's great - I'll head along to JJ's and have my bike sorted - and see you all at the Thai Visa party at the Premier bar (first one I've been to)

Me thinks JJ will send you down to the foam shop for the seat cover, about 100 meters or less toward Ban Tai....same side of road.... but stop and ask JJ first... and get your oil change etc done ... but be prepared to wait a while... they are normally very bizzy ... as is the Honda Shop... (brother of JJ) .... both good on service... thumbsup.gif

Thats where i got mine done at foam shop, very good and only 250baht new foam and seat cover.

  6. Umm it was you 2 posts back that bought Honda and kawa into it.

Buy what you want/can afford and be happy with it however if you by cheap you can't really complain when it starts falling apart, yes all the cheap plastic add ons look pretty but I gaurantee first time you drop it them handguards are gonna break same with the plastics around the brake calipers and as for rubber footpegs not a great idea but then they probably help with all the vibrations your gonna get with this bike.

I have same hand guards on lifan and have dropped my bike many times on them, they are very strong.

  7. What color bikes does he have in phuket and what is price on the road, possible to test ride one there?

In all honesty motocrosser you are probably better of sticking with your lifan ,the lifan has better feedback from owners, and I know these are new platinums but the older models were pretty slated by owners.

Will still keep the lifan and very happy with it,have given it some real punishment up in the hills!will wait to see who buys one first and get some feedback!
