I've found a Thai product called "Aspent-M" in local Thai drugstores. It's aspirin 81 mg. It comes in a bottle of 60 tablets.

Why worry about an additional 100-bath usable in a year for the Banks annual visa application letter for the Immigration office.

Even if the cost of the visa Bank letter was 500-bath a year it would not be a matter to worry about because it is applicable once a year ...

Have used an agent the last 3 years and wouldn't do it any other way....During that time had to make 1 trip to the imm office.....The agent had made my appt and I was in and out within an hour.....

In particular, can you please clarify how your service will cope with the HMPO requirement for the With-It Tower Mob to see the original of the passport being renewed, both at the application stage (despite it not then needing to be sent to Liverpool) and again when the replacement passport is ready for collection (so that they can then perform the onerous task of snipping off the corners of the old passport)?

Yes, the current UK passport application procedure is sent via VSF to Liverpool and then Liverpool sent the new passport back to VSF and applicants will then select it from the VSF office..

While still in Bangkok applicants can go to the UK Consulate inside the UK Embassy and they will confirm via letter the new passport procedure and the Immigration office will then accept the new passport and together with old passport they will enter the required matters in the new passport..

The heavy road traffic is chiefly in the central parts of Chiang Mai, The C.M. road administration tries to

reduce this heavy traffic problem and are currently again creating several long "Road Tunnels" below the normal roads in some parts of Chiang Mai, in order to reduce the heavy traffic a bit.

Due to the current Road Tunnel buildings the traffic is heavily restricted in those areas and the drivers

to drive in different areas around he city and as a result some of those areas have a very heavy road traffic.

When those new Road Tunnels are completed then the heavy road traffics in C.M. will reduce a bit, but in any event the current road traffic in C.M. is not a major problem, and certainly not like in BKK.

Yes, they are cheaper in costing, but the purchasing of those glasses does not include the checking

There have been several reports on TVF that Chiang Mai would allow Retirement Extensions up to 45 days prior to expiration.

But since CM Immigration opened the new zoo at Promenada, there has been all sorts of weird procedures reported. The present situation could well have changed.

That does not appear to be correct, I am aware of the fact that one does not give the passport and the application forms to the girls outside.

The girls outside will only give the queue number card for the 90 days and one has to wait until he application procedure will take place inside.

As is known the "Queue Online" procedure is no longer available and the annual visa application must know be done again at the immigration office queue line.

The C.M. Immigration office states that applicants can apply for the annual visa application 45 days before the end of the existing visa date.

They also suggest that applicants should arrive early in the morning at 7 AM or even before, because they will only accept 20 applicants on the day and they give them the queue line numbers and the 20 applicants have to wait in the office queue line number, and that takes many hours.

It is possible that the "Queue Online" procedure will eventually be re-instated.

If you trust your wife enough then go to your bank with her ( and passport and her ID card) and change your bank accounts to be in joint names. I suspect that if they are in your name only the bank would refuse your wife access to the money without some sort of court order which might be delayed if you have not made a will.

It is possible the bank will will insist on opening a new account in joint names rather than change your account.but it won't hurt to ask.

It would be better for you to make two wills. One for the disposal of your goods here, and the the other one for the disposal of your goods in your home country.

I have written a folder out for my wife with all details in it.

eg

Full name, place/date of birth, parents names place of birth, my National insurance number (I'm English), previous addresses in England. family and friends contact names,addresses, email and phone numbers, pension company adress, UK bank account details, British Embassy details etc. Your widow (!) will need to take your arrival card and copy of passport to immigration. The hospital might not release your body without a letter from your embassy and the temple might not cremate you without such letter. She will need multiple copies of your death certificate. And official translations for your home country's officials. Where can she get the certificate translated locally? Find out and put it in the folder. There are so many details, I am constantly updating the folder for her. I went through the folder with her, she didn't like to think about it, but knew it was necessary. Is she entitled to a widow's pension from your company? Find out and draft a letter to them that she only has to date and sign. Which account will the widow's pension be paid into? And do revise your will every few years, things change.

Let's hope it won't be needed for decades yet. But it might be.

The banks do not include your wife's name to your existing account, they will transfer the money to a new account with both names of you and your wife, but in any event it not really needed to have this done.

In order to get those matters sorted provide a " Last Will and Testament" signed by you and confirmed by a Solicitors office and signed by a Barrister, then go and show those papers in advance to the bank and they will agree to accept it as outlined.

At the end of life the bank will then provide the money to the outlined applicants as stated at the official Last Will and Testament and confirmed by the legal office.

Please let us know on which "website" you made the application, and what sort of "documents" have to be entered into the website.

The >Queue Online< printing procedure is no longer available for the time being, it might restart again at a latter date but there is no news about it, but lets hope it will start again soon.

Visa applicants must now go to the new Immigration office in GM. for their annual Visa applications and can begin to start 45 days before the end of their visa date and they should arrive there at 7.am in the morning and the immigration team will accept about 20 applicants and they will give the appropriate application "queue number" and then the applicants have to wait in the queue.

The Queue On-Line is a joke. Three years running I have diligently booked a slot 100 days in advance. Three years in a row I have arrived at the Immigration Office and told the staff at the centre desk that I have arrived for my appointment, and they have told me to sit down and wait for my name to be called. Three years in a row my name has not been called at the appointment time and for a substantial time period afterwards and I have noticed that they are processing people who have arrived and queued that day. Three years in a row I have then told them that they cannot process those people because I have an appointment at which time they have then accepted the error of their ways and given me the next available person. Next year I shall arrive at exactly the appointment time and refuse to sit down and wait. They have no respect for us in that particular office.

I had the same experience experience 2 years in a row but this year they had a list at the desk and checked my name and I was called about 15 minutes later.
