Recommendation for a good pediatrician or hospital in Phuket Town sought...
There is no acute cause for doctor visits, vaccination stands on, or if there should a treatment necessary for the baby.
-
Meanwhile, we are settled in Kathu, a kindergarten without a very long ride would be ideal.
BIS-Phuket could be reached, but I am unsure whether the prices are reasonable although, the building looks quite impressive...
Thank you already in advance for Kindergarten recommendations in the surroundings of Kathu !

As promised, the update:
Thanks to your help today I was able to sign the lease on a house in Kathu There it is quiet, so just right for us.
-
Thank you all for your kind suggestions in the meantime. In my post I did not mention a price, simply because this is secondary and follow the desired object, which should not be a luxury villa. For further understanding: Babies accommodation also means for me, that we can move around with the stroller into the closest surrounding area without having to worry about the smoke from the onrushing truck. I'll keep you up to date.

No more than essential to, but for my special requirements I have to pay. Important to me is a fair price for long-term rent.

Already I stay here, but not familiar with Phuket. Attempt to locate the areas of interest via Google maps, then I go there and find a exclusive residential area or a poor house area, or...
There are so many areas or "muubaan", but where to begin and what omitted. Locally I'm flexible, so it just goes to my aforementioned criteria. Thanks!

My home search is more difficult than I thought:Wanted, is a small, neat, single storey house for long-term rent, in a quiet area with no car fumes, somewhere in Phuket.Ideally, the house provides a pleasant feeling for my baby. I'm not interested in nightlife. What "MuuBaan" or area is recommended?GPS position data (Google Maps) are highly appreciated, even by PM.

There is not everyone a english native speaker... therefore I want the child is familiar with the english language at an early stage.
(By the way, I am beginning to realize that the house search is difficult, so I give priority to search the house, the kindergarten has to wait)
-
Thanks, I'll be there!

Looking for a suitable kindergarten for my baby, the visit of the kindergarten should start at the age of 2.5-3 years.(Then I hope to find a small house near the nursery. In order to avoid a further relocation or long ways, I want to start by searching a kindergarten)Required:
- Solid English lessons (because we are not English native speaker)
- Kindergarten should not be exposed to car exhaust
- Affordable (Phuket International Academy seems to be at 300,000 THB / school year on the expensive side, the nursery prices are not shown on the website).
- Pleasant, dedicated staff.
- The child should love to go to kindergarten.
Which kindergarten suits my needs? (Which nursery is not suitable?) - Solid English lessons (because we are not English native speaker)

Paradise beach
Today I was there and was thrilled, just with baby, the restaurant offers a very nice, quiet and shady seating!
Further information about appropriate places, where to go with my baby are welcome...

Just arrived in Phuket, I find it hard to find a simple but clean Thai-Restaurant where we can stop worry-free with an 11-month-old baby during the day.
Ideal would be a quiet place without car fumes, with nice views and thaipricelevel. Of course, seaview would be perfect, but it´s not expected.
Currently we stay in an quiet apartment in the outskirts of Phuket Town, towards Kathu.
First of all we look for opportunity in our area, (we occasionally also would like to sit on the sea).
For more ideas to appropriate staging points for a baby, I'm grateful ... -

Across the road from Tesco Chaweng a good tyre place. They will fix it for you.
Today I visited the tire repair shop. The work was done professionally and at a very fair price. Really a highly recommendable shop!

Thank you guys

A thick nail has pressed into my car tire, the tire still holding air.
Should I go to the Mazda dealer or where is a good place to vulcanize the tire?
Thanks for your thoughts!

Looking for a neat, quiet and safe accommodation for long term rental (at least 6 months).
With living room, one bedroom, kitchen, windows with mosquito net, and ideally car parking space.
Preferably around Lamai, Huathanon, possibly Talingnam, or any other friendly place
Available, ideally for approx between mid may until the end of june.

Had chosen the carwash in BigC-car park (so I could do some shopping at the same time). The price of washing, waxing (quality?) and interior cleaning was 450 baht. The work was completed well within 70 minutes, but not perfect. Entry boards and liner were not really clean, so I think the work could be carried out more detailed. Next time I'll try a different car wash...
-
Thanks guys, the selection is great, tomorrow morning, just before the car wash I will take to heart one of your recommendations
-
What car wash is recommended for washing and (nano)waxing? At what Price? My previously used car wash, opposite the BigC (Chaweng), is unfortunately out of business.

Thanks for your thoughts on my back. There are problems. no pain, I can live with it, because only be driven short stretch.
Of circumstances, I switched from the PCX to Click, from the lost suspension comfort I'd like some back, preferably achieved by softer shocks...
-
Try to describe my goal better:
The shocks I do NOT need for a sporty driving style, but for my usual leisurely everyday rides.
I am interested in a more sensitive suspension at slow speeds, even with small bumps.
Do not know if there is a solution...
-
Have you checked your tire pressure? Normaly the shops, for some reason, try to pressurize the tires to the limit of bursting.
Really need a comfortable ride, the problem is not the tire pressure, but my spine.
YSS shocks are a good option. Send me a PM if interested. Best of luck.
