Not very bright, these policemen......are they?
They haven't realised yet, that old habits are changing in Thailand.
Good for Pol Maj Gen Churat Pan-ngao.
Hope that there are many more like him around.

I was just told by my wife that the Ministry of Health has send a memo to all the hospitals in Thailand, asking for volunteer doctors, nurses and paramedics to be send to Nepal.
They will provide transportation
BUT
They have to provide their own camping equipment and also each team to provide their own electricity generator.
Is this common in other counties when they send volunteers or it's just Thailand?
I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking.

If you don't care, why are you asking?
Nothing better to do?

OK a good decision but what I can't understand is this
"the court said that since Ms Yingluck never introduced the businessmen she met at the hotel to testify in the court, and never informed the media of the meeting, thus casting doubt if the meeting did actually happen or not."
Now.....if she did she would have admitted to her guilt....... I know she is naive but not as stupid as such.
And that was not evidence to dismiss the case.....but must be Thai logic.

Neeraman, filet mignon is the best, even if it is medium rare as JT wants it but sometimes a burger can break the monotony.
Not that I suggest you should try another woman except your wife......but I like to taste a variety of food during my life.
As about "ie shags" cant remember exactly to tell you and also am confused which were women which men and which ladyboys.
As I'm getting older my memory starts failing me.

Daphne.......what a lovely name......and Greek also.
Always wanted to call my daughter that name but at the end we opted out, after a lot of persuasion, for my mothers name that was Ourania.
Now be careful as God Apollo will be after her, according to the Greek Mythology.
As about Fah, please try to resist giving Daphne that nick name.
Can you imagine if later she goes to school in the UK the kids will add a ck at the end of her name.
God forbid......you don't want that
Put your foot down and don't accept it.
Wish you, your wife and Daphne, all the happiness and health in your lives.

May both of them Rest in Peace.
And may be the husband will be judged by his creator when he meets him.
Now is all a sad history, what's the point of criticizing him or others?
He also got a family, left behind.

He failed.....it was the right thing to do and submit his resignation.
If my employees had failed me, I would have kicked them out.
No excuses, either you do the job you are paid for, or you are out.

OP, may be you want to say that "We" pretend not to be racists and yes, you are right to say that "We" have got laws in our countries that do not allow us to be racists.
By reading comments about the Thais on TVF, including mine, then you can see if "We" are racists or not.
Immigration rules in Thailand are not racist but they are trying to safeguard their own people.
Also there are quite a few foreigners that have been awarded Thai citizenship the same as back in our own countries.
Also using the term "We" shows that we differentiate ourselves from the natives.
Is that racism?

She is absolutely right, OP.
Everything has to be new.
Just don't forget to get all your money available to her and let her do whatever she wants and I can foresee a bright future.....not so much for you, but definitely for her.
Please look for the next one, no point wasting your time with her.

Ahhhhh......that's very sweet, OP
I wouldn't mind having neighbours and friends like that and they can believe to whatever they want.
As about that pig........can't stop drooling now......wish I had a bite...............

RIP, old man.
Now the road will go through your land, but you have nothing to worry about.

"Young delinquents in Observation Center given knowledge on reform and elections"

Same, same.......not different...........

Are you listening to me members?
The EU, will impose a ban on exports from Thailand in 6 months.
I keep saying that over and over again.
Even our PM, has realised that by now.
Good for him.......he's learning..................

OP, I've travelled many times with NCA in the past and I never had any misfortunes.
I'm sorry to hear what happened to you and your wife, but you should file a complaint with NCA.
I do think they take matters seriously and may be they can control or change their sandwich supplier, so no other person suffers the same.
Sorry for the editing OP, but I just thought of it.
Did you notice the other 30 or 40 passengers on the bus using the toilet as you and your wife?
If not, could it be something you ate earlier, before you go on the bus?

"and for exchange of more visits by senior officers."
They are welcome to Thailand as long as they don't dry their clothes on the airport chairs, or litter the urinals.

"Greece admitted yesterday that the budget figures it used to gain entry to the euro three years ago were fudged."
The Indipendent, better check their facts.
Greece joint the EU in 1981 followed by Spain and Portugal and adopted the Euro in 2001, not 3 years ago.

Let them reap what they sow.
They voted for a communist government that gave false promises.
Now they regret it and they can sense the hardship it's coming to them.
Although, I'm Greek, I can't feel sorry for the gullible people that voted them in.
To understand the stupidity of this government, they are talking of taking Greece out of the EU and let the country go bunkrupt.
I hope Greek people have still some sense left in their heads and kick them out before it's too late.

Thai politicians are the ones who have stalled this country's development. They should all be rounded up and shipped out onto the Thai fishing vessels...
Absolutely right and he is not worried so much about the country's development but more for the development and fattening of his own pockets.

Never have I, either, and he may Rest in Peace.
Just one question......has he been to Pattaya before?
That would explain.....................

Peace TV’s operating license revoked by the Broadcasting Board
in Thailand News
Posted
"Reacting to the order revoking Peace TVs licence, Mr Natthawut Saikua, co-leader of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship, said he suspected the order came from someone above the Broadcasting Board."
What a clever man
Bet you, UDD, has got plenty others like him.
