  1. Thank you,got intouch with an ecu repair shop in bangkok,said, cannot repair or change the memory chip without the fault codes, the garage says do not have these but will install second hand ecu,45000 baht, so will go along with this. Than you every one. Tom

  3. Hi ,thank you for replied. I can buy a new ecu, same part number as the one I have now, matched to cars vin number,app 75000 baht, from germany both Audi repair shops are quoting an additonal 100000 baht to program the ecu .told cannot be repaired,car won't start or run. Advise required please,trust this posting gives more clarity. Thank you Tom

  5. The ecu on my audi tt, is not working, advised a repair is not available. A new unit from germany for this cars vin number, same model ecu, is available, but am now told need to go to audi dealer to program the ecu this needs to be done online . Can this be done on a laptop computer, my local garage repairs audis, can this be done with his laptop, which he plugs into the cars edb. Ecu from audi 170000 baht from germany including tax 75000 baht. Would the ecu need to be installed in the car to do this. any help or suggestions, greatly received thank you.
