This happened to me last year.
The embassy in Bangkok will issue a new passport, (10 working days & 6,800 Baht)
They will also give you a letter for immigration stating what visa you had. Immigration will reissue the white exit card with you original due date.
They will not reissue a multiple visa! The next visa run will have to be to renew the multiple entry, (assuming thats what you have.
I hd photocopies of my passport & Non B. No good they say at the border, have 15 days!! Nightmare!!!

Great thread this!!
When still at school i really wanted a Kawasaki KH 250, the 3 exhuasts did it for me...
By the time i left i actually got a Suzuki X5 200, great little bike. Had many since then, & currently have a TDR 250 Yamaha, & a Honda CB-1 400.
Also got a Yamaha Thunderace in the UK which my mate keeps shiny for me.

Good find, cheers for that.
I want to upgade my single light to a dual headlight. Was wondering how i'd get around frying the loom!
This looks perfect.
Goes to show, you can't beat a bit of 'Eastern beaver"!!

thanks for the replies.
Looks like the 7 day extention could be the plan. That gives me time to get the required paperwork in order to get a new 1 yr visa. Should be picking up new work permit on Thursday.
I'll try an e-mail to the issuing consulate (Kota Bharu) in case they can help......
Nightmare really. Bloody car got stolen, in it were all my documents!!

Thanks,
i'm on a multiple entry. Due for a border bounce this weekend!! The TM6 was indeed in the passport. Before, when my passport was full they just copied the info over. But then they had the old one in front of them!
Cheers for the link.

Hi,
I had my passport stolen a couple of weeks ago. Iv'e been to the embassy to apply for a new one which i can pick up this week.
My question is regarding immigration, will i get my 1 yr non b re issued by immigration in Bkk on production of my new passport, or will they require further proof that i had/have one?
I have a copy of the old passport, but not of the visa page.

1,500 Baht doesn't sound like full No1 insurane to me.
Did you mean 15,000? Check with the insurer exactly what you're covered for.

Just checked bangkok air website, 6,500 one way from chiang Mai to Samui.
I didn;t know this route even existed. Expensive, but then it's about 5,000 from Samui to Bangkok alone!
-
Checked that route already, no outstanding finance on it. Got all the documents from the bank that it was bought through.

A witness says it went at about 9am, i was out untill 5pm. Plenty of time to get it away.
It would appear that a key was used, the thief went to the car, jumped in & drove off. Iv'e only owned the car a short time, so it's possible there's a key floating about. It was definitely locked as due to a spate of burglary's in the area i had my passport, work permit, tabien baan....... in it!!
Nightmare eh!!

Hi all,
on Wednesday i had my car stolen from outside an office on Chaweng lake road (Moo 2).
The chances are that it was taken straight to the ferry & off the island. However, it may be tucked away in a small soi somewhere, (small chance i know)!
It's quite distinctive, bright mettalic blue 4 door 4x4 Toyota Vigo reg No 856 (Suratthani).
If anyone spots it could you please call me on 0878150524
Thanks.

Hi,
you may have to change the wiring loom to accomodate different electrics, CDI etc...
Also, make sure the frame height will take a taller motor & the sprockets will line up.
That said, i'm sure its do-able.

I booked my bus ticket at 'Golden Friday' in Bangrak, opposite Big Buddha pier.
-
I did it last month, going alone. Booked a joint ticket at a travel agent, 1,000 baht for boat, mini bus to Sungai Kolok, ( with pick up at yr home/hotel).
At Sungai Kolok walked across the border then got taxi to Kota Bharu (50 Ringit), hotel in town about 70 ringit. Went to the consulate at opening time (9am) & got a Non B multi entry no problems.
You have to wait till the next morning to pick up passport tho' & there's not a lot to do to pass the time. (Not a bar in town)!!
Dress smartly, (no shorts & vest tops) be polite & have the right paperwork & you should be ok.
BTW, they only take Ringit as payment, (no baht) It's a long walk to the bank... I know!
Hope it helps.
