The crowd was fairly good natured when I was there but given how many people are armed (in addition to the weapons mentioned above I saw catapults, flails made out of heavy duty cable and other stuff) it could easily get out of hand.
LOL, this is a small town indeed, the guy on the bike is the local travelling newsagent! - a very nice guy. Great pics greeny!

Seen the promotional stuff, looks like its from 6pm to 1am at carrefour on sunday 30th.

Go towards the old Chiangmai-Lamphun golf club... and head towards the national park areas and lakes over there.
Been once to Huay Teung Tao, great if you have toddlers... but other than that, awful place very grotty.

Jeez, you guys are touchy!.. all i commented on was the conflicting reports!
I just hope this all ends soon, before the fallout from the financial crisis hits CM after the 'high'season. Last thing they (my Thai friends and family) need. Although there will be rice to harvest around CM, it doesnt pay half as well as construction, which must slow soon?. Im truly concerned for them over the next two years. As for me? firk it, im a farang... there will always be work somewhere in farangland.
