on the forum awhile ago i asked about double entry tourist visa and was told i get sixty days on visa then pay 1900baht at immagration for a further 30 days.Then go shop over the boarder come back get stamped another 60 days then back to immagration for another 30days. I come back 22 December in Brisbane Australia was lucky to get a triple entry tourist visa but the way it was explained by the staff was I get sixty days then cross boarder come back another 60 days then cross boarder again another 60 days .did'nt mention the 30 days from imagration.My concern is is the thirty days still happening or not. also on the forum they said there will be a date on the visa and i must use it all before then my date says this visa must be utilsed before 8 of june 2009 does that mean i have to of used the three sixty days stay's before that date or i just have to enter the country before that date.If so wouldnt the extra 30 days from immagration put me past that date.also when you say immagration is that a office in large towns or boarder crossings any help on this would be appreciated as I say due to come back 22 Dec but still confused.Also on that note the staff at Brisbane embassy very very helpful more or less would of give me anything I asked for. still very confused newbie

coming over 22 december with double entry tourist visa after the 90 days plan to do run from mae sai as I have freinds in Chang Rai.I am on a English passport with Australian return residents visa I have been told that if i cross boarders, Myanmar,Laos on English passport I have to pay for visa into these countries is this true even for a few hours to do the run.If so any ideas on how much any help appreciated

I am a Australian on an english passport with a resident return visa valid till 2013.I am coming back to Thailand 21 December I am about to go to the Thai embassy here in Brisbane to get a visa This is where I'm confused if I get a multipule entry visa say x2 does that give me 60 days after which I visit immagration get a further 30 days then go out of the country I have friends i Chang Rai so say a trip up to Mae Sai cross border for the day or few hours now on return do I then get a further 60 day's with then after that at immagration another 30 day's if so when coming back over the boarder is there any costs also read in forum about a certain time frame this all must happen in I want to really stay in Thailand for as long as possible with maybe a trip to Vietnam once Ihave to get out of country any help appreciated the visa will be tourist visa my mate in Chang Rai says this sort of visa is wrong you dont get a second 60 days

I can see the point there they need 6 months vadility left on a passport. But my girls passport is brand new she only recieved it last week thanks again everybody for the input put my mind at rest trying to get her a tourist visa for Australia we want to go to Vietnam first anyway I just thought with everybody's hassles to get spouce visa's a tourist one might be the same again everybody thanks heaps

thanks for the input didnt make sense to me either mabye after looking at other forums she may have got mixed up with a spouse visa seems they have to wait 6 months for those. one more question please is there any sort of waiting period just for a tourist visa for say a month or two thanks for your help again

My lady in thailand has just applied for a thai passport. We want to travel around Thailand when I go back next month.Then she would like to visit Australia with me just as a tourist no intention to stay but she tell's me by phone that people where she applied for the passport say she can cross boarders by land but she is not allowed to fly out of the country for 6 months can anybody shed any light on this anyone heard of it before sort of defeats the purpose of getting a passport in the first place any help appreciated.Thank you
