Definitely get Shinrix even if you have to try and order it online or go to a pharmacy like Boots and see if they will order it in for you. 2 shots, first one then 2 months later second one. I had Shingles and it is definitely lots of pain and doesn't go away quickly. It's been close to two years since I had them and have nerve damage that I am still taking Gabapentin for and Dr says maybe for life. I got the Shinrix shots as soon as Dr said I could, don't want to go thru that again. When Shingles could happen cost means nothing if you can try to prevent them. Good Luck.

Justin Trudeau and Prayut and some of the cabinet ministers must be related as we have the same thing in Canada. No drinkable tap water many places and sewage dumped into the St Lawrence river.

Used to be hilarious watching them on Walking Street in years past. They'd see all the LBs at Jenny's or the Linda bar and it never occurred to them that they were guys.

Of course, by the time they'd made it that far down WS they'd already passed a couple dozen bars full of real women and were usually half drunk as well. Of course, shore leave may be restricted this time about, which would really suck (or would result in a lack of suck).

The temple ceremony is just a religious ceremony, same as some cultures jump the broom. It is not recognized as a legal marriage until it is registered with the  Amphur.

Does he even have a license, many Thais don't bother to get one as a lot of them think drivers licences are  something Farangs want so they don't bother to get one. Besides that the police dont enforce the law and a quick 200 baht and your on your way.

You forgot to mention probably about half of the Thais don't even have a drivers license or any drivers training especialy in the countryside and the police if they pull them over 200 baht and away they drive.  My ex didn't have a license and if she saw a roadblock turned around and if pulled over 200 baht and away she goes. Typical Thai responce if I told her she had to get license, Not need, too much trouble to get.

When I go to the Canadian embassy in Bangkok for a letter confirming income I take my income tax forms from last year and have never had a problem as it is guaranteed proof of yearly income. In and out in a couple of hours

I go to Samed quite often and there is clean beaches, clean water, and if you want night life there are 4 or 5 large bars with music and many smaller bars. Small island but something for everyone 

If you don't pay the bills the utilities will come and take away the meters and you will have to go to there offices and pay what is owing plus reconnect fees tthen wait for them to get around to reconnecting services. I had to go through this . 

Forget Pattaya. The drunk moron Farangs are at it for close to two weeks and even after Songkran there are some that still try to get away with soaking you. Some of the bars on Beach road are the worst and it goes 24/7 in some areas.

He said the man was extremly drunk, rude, aggresive and bothering the serving staff and was asked to leave then was escorted outside of the bar. He then tried to re-enter and was stopped by security and then accosted the security guards. I do not recommend the use of weapons or such but from the members description the guard did not use a hook but used one of those collaspsible batons you can buy at almost any stall on Beach Rd. I think the owner is doing much more than neccesary to make amends to a drunken fool that should have been escorted out by the police and thrown in the drunk tank. Apparently one of the serving girls also had gone to the police to request assistance (ha-ha) if that could have been expected. Now my rant is over but why should the owner have to suffer for a drunk, aggressive foriegner. As usual every post here has been hang the owner but yesterdays post makes more sense to me and I am not a tee-totaler and have been coming here for many years and have never had a problem

Are you aware that TG are 100% not at fault here? TG have suffered some bad luck which will cause a lot of inconvience for many passengers through no fault of their own. This type of thing happens to all airlines all over the world. There's no need for press releases for this kind of incident.

I worked for an airline for 35 yrs and was a food truck driver for some of them. These incidents happen occasionaly and normaly is not a big problem and is fixed with no problem so as you say there is no need for all the bad press.
