Now making news internationally.
Officialdom making threats to use the death penalty against foreigners for relatively minor or perceived offences is again putting Thailand in a bad light with the rest of the world.
Where do these uniformed fools come from?
Thailand?

Using the brakes was of course out of the question. Should have just hit the truck instead. Why do they always "swerve" and end up hitting a tree, electric pole or like in this case, overturn on tge side of the road?
It sounds better than I fell asleep.

Armed men entering a school...
This alone is reason for a lengthy Prison sentence... remove these egotistical childish minds from society and place them in a place where they are forced to grow up.

Could you please eloborate why? I see nothing in Cambodia, that makes that place a better place for expat or retirement destination. If you live cheep, eat local food, local transportation, and only interest is a local bar and playing pool, there is nothing else there!
You forgot local people

Proves the point.
Never trust a smartly dressed man.
A scruffy, unshaven, tattoo'd urchin in flip flops and camo shorts would never do such a thing.

totally agree and also the police for not doing their jobs to make a reasonable effort (365 days a year) in detecting those that insist on driving while drunk, ultimately it is the chance of being caught and the severe penalties they will receive that are the best deterrent
Good if you live in BKK but any place more rural no taxi

Nothing will ever change and we all know it, everybody knows where and when the police setup road blocks so people just avoid them, I think they should be out at night

Follow Singapore's lead. Mandatory death sentence for drug offences! No ifs, no buts, no "Do you know who I am or who I know". DEATH!
I know just how I would get rid of my enemies.

My friend has a guest house here in Chiang Mai, he recieved a negative review from a guest complaining there was no parking for cars. The real problem was they didn't have a car. I guess should have offered a free room to get a positive review
How would he know they did not have a car if here was no parking for car?

Thailand should go proactively fishing online for these guys like the cops do in the west, they'd probably be shocked at their arrest rate, but I wouldn't.
So what are you saying, he police should do an illegal act to catch these guys?

How can you feel not wanted? How many countries in the world offer a person that´s only been 60-90 days in the country a possibility to get a retirement visa the same day in only a couple of hours? That with the same relaxed request of money in the bank or income as well as not many paper, in a fairly developed country?
You can just take the money in the bank that is only 800K baht here, in relation to other countries. 800K baht is about 25K dollar.Phillipines: Between 50-75K dollar for retirement visa
Malaysia have a special program for 10 years. Financials 87-125K dollar and a monthly income of 2500 dollar. For regular retirement 37K dollar.
Vietnam do not have a retirement option, and can not be considered an option due to the lack of development.
Cambodia is totally out of the question. Lack of development and health care puts a stop to that directly.I prefer Cambodia by a long shot but wife won't let me go.
