  1. I have got a small business in Bangkok and I do not have any Thai staff working for me. I have got a workpermit for a couple of years and they always gave a me a non immigrant B multipe entry in Holland without any problem, but last December they told me that they do not give a non immigrant B multipe entry visa anymore, been to Thai consulate in Amsterdam and the Thai embassy in The Hague, same story. They only gave me a single entry Non Immigrant B visa. In 5 weeks time I have to renew this visa again and someone me that I have to fly to Kualu Lumpur to apply for a Non Immigrant B single entry again. This week I will get 4 Thai staff on paper, if I have 4 staff working for me longer than 3 months I can apply for a Non Immigrant B multipe entry at the immigration office in Bangkok if I am correct.

    - is this true? or is their an easier way?

    - what is the best Thai embassy to apply for a non immigrant B, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Manilla, Phrom Penh? Is it possible in my case to apply for a non immigrant B multiple entry abroad?

    - what are the costs? where can I find which papers I need

I am so surprised that they did not give me a multiple entry in Holland and now a bit nervous what to do and if I will get a non immigrant B multiple entry in Asia.

  2. A couple of months ago I wrote an article about where I finally found a place to print perfect looking business cards, the owner moved his shop to Siam Paragon Shopping Center, 3rd Floor (Be Trend)The name of the print shop is Eco print, owner is Thai and speaks fluent English because he lived 16 years in England, for me always handy because for me it is hard to explain in Thai how my business card has to look exactly.

I always printed my business cards in MBK but the paper they used there and the print quality wasn't great.

I do not work for the owner, he did a good job and just a tip for people who also need to print some business cards.

  3. Picked up my business cards today and I am very satisfied with the print quality and the paper which they used at Eco Print. The shop is located on the left side from the BIG C in Rama 4, the shop is located in Cyber square, a new computer mall. The name of the print shop is Eco Print (shop S02), owner is Thai and speaks fluent English because he lived 16 years in England, for me always handy because for me it is hard to explain in Thai how my business card has to look exactly.

I always printed my business cards in MBK but the paper they used there and the print quality wasn't great.

I do not work for the owner, he did a good job and just a tip for people who also need to print some business cards and like to have a nice looking card.

  4. Couple of days ago I read this article about a "Thai Air Force plane skids off Bangladesh runway"

What makes me sick is those negative comments on every news alert about Thailand or Thai people and it has nothing to do with the subject anymore. Maybe a lot of you guys are frustrated with your low income teaching jobs or married the wrong type of girl but I never see comments like this on other forums around the world. Here some comments on the article "Thai Air Force plane skids off Bangladesh runway"

most likely the runway wasnt wide enough. similar to thai drivers where the road never seems to be wide enough, even if its two lanes. there is always the compulsion to come drive on the other side. i see in the picture there is a road that runs alongside the runway hence the thai pilots god given right to land there if he wants. I suspect it may be a genetic thing, thai culture and certainly not his fault.

They think that's proof of their innate intelligence but to my mind this is proof of the larger logistical problems with Thailand.

I would suggest Thaivisa stop those comments on news alerts, your average reader is a frustrated person who better goes home but maybe he is frustrated there too because he is not the "handsome man" anymore. [/background]

  5. I am living in Thailand but have my money in euro, some people (who know more about economy than I do) say that now it is the time to send my money to my Thai account. With all the economic problems in the world (and especially in the eurozone) the euro will be worth nothing in a couple of months.

I do remember times when 1 euro was 54 baht and now it is only 41 baht. Will it be less in the near future?

  6. I have been to the Rock Pub close to Phyathai, good music. Been to the Saxophone close to Victory Moment, good too. Been to Fat Guts in Thonglor, bit too small that place. Looking for a bar with music from Neil Young, Grateful Dead, a bit of rock bit of 70's, would be nice. Sick of Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga etc.

  7. How weak, let your wife copntrol your money. Like it is your mama who gives you some money for candys but now many years later it is for beer. Why are so many farangs so lost, give all my money to my wife hahahahaha, why would you do that? And she, of course, buys all the sh.t she wants for her family and herself. Just stop paying her monthly and look if she still loves you or maybe it was all about the money... and then you have to make a decision, do I stay or do I do go now with my money. If you ask me, easy, run.

  8. I have got Zyxel router from True if I start the computer it does not work. When the technician from True was here he disabled and enabled my ethernet cards (got two do not know why) and it worked, I am trying to do the same thing but it doesn't work. Is it Windows 7? Do I need drivers for this router? What to do really? When I call True they always want to do the same steps and that doesn't help.
