Nicaragua files case at World Court accusing Germany of aiding Israel’s ‘genocide’
I avoided these topics as they are a distraction from the fact that removing the Palestinian population is an end, not a means, all the rest is noise. The tweets you posted by Israeli spokesman Eylon Levy are not neutral and contribute to the intentional confusion and distortion of facts.

Nicaragua files case at World Court accusing Germany of aiding Israel’s ‘genocide’
I have been through the 44 pages and there was no mention of what I am referring to here, which is the de facto genocidal tenor of the Zionist project, deeply steeped in religion and explicitly mentioned by its leaders, such as the Amalek and Isaiah prophecies. Those 44 "noisy" pages of bickering reminded me why I have refrained from partaking in debates on this highly contentious issue, I preferred to wait a bit. For what it's worth, Zionism is an issue I am very familiar with, having studied it for ten years and having read lots of books on the topic. I have always been convinced that covertness was what allowed the Zionist project to go unabated, and that widespread exposure would cause its undoing. Actually I did post this in October: I might be more present now on these topics as I believe we are reaching breaking point.

Nicaragua files case at World Court accusing Germany of aiding Israel’s ‘genocide’
The case at this stage was not to make a finding of genocide, but to confirm if the Israel's actions in Gaza could be plausibly regarded as genocidal acts in violation of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. The court said yes on all counts.

I am merely stating facts and am happy to discuss them in further detail. Netanyahu, in the context of his speeches pertaining to the Israeli military intervention in Gaza, explicitly and unequivocally refers to the Biblical annihilation of the Amalek. This is what the scripture referred to states: “Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass”. "… but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling…": are those Hamas terrorists? Please take the time to read this: Genocide case against Israel: Who were the Amalek, whose mention by Netanyahu came up at the ICJ https://indianexpress.com/article/explained/explained-global/who-were-the-amalek-netanyahu-gaza-israel-icj-9105643/

"Facilitating humanitarian aid"? Siege and Starvation: How Israel Obstructs Aid to Gaza https://www.refugeesinternational.org/reports-briefs/siege-and-starvation-how-israel-obstructs-aid-to-gaza/ The World Food Programme (WFP) says its first attempt in two weeks to bring food aid to northern Gaza was blocked by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-68486248

Nicaragua files case at World Court accusing Germany of aiding Israel’s ‘genocide’
‘Old-time religion’: Netanyahu invokes scripture as Hamas fight becomes Israel’s ‘holy war’ [...] In a news conference on Monday, Mr Netanyahu again invoked the Bible as he insisted there would be no ceasefire. [...] London-based pro-Palestinian not-for-profit Middle East Monitor (MEMO) claimed Mr Netanyahu had “[declared] holy war against Gaza, citing the Bible”, writing that “critics have highlighted that the text in the Hebrew Bible which addresses revenge on the Amalek constitutes a narrative of ‘genocide’”. [...] The passage from Samuel referenced, in which the prophet commands King Saul to wipe out the Amalek, reads, “Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.” https://www.news.com.au/finance/work/leaders/oldtime-religion-netanyahu-invokes-scripture-as-hamas-fight-becomes-israels-holy-war/news-story/be3a19446c5e151e087e77b20ebdf145

Sounds a lot like my place, France. No wonder the PM is off to see Macron, they can both discuss their respective plans to wreck their countries.

Even Wikipedia, which I believe you and many users of this forum consider to be a reliable source, has a pretty good piece on the Samson option: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samson_Option It is not an opinion but an essential fact that anyone discussing the Israel-Palestine conflict (100% on topic by the way) should know about.

Indeed, but we can't overlook the fact that the Israeli establishment is a fanatical religious cult which follows scripture and aims to precipitate end times so that the Messiah can rise and the third temple can be built. This has been Netanyahu's goal since the 90s and particularly following Rabin's assassination. Zionist politics are not rational. A good article on the matter: Netanyahu's role now isn't to hold the keys for the Moshiach, but rather to do all he can to prepare the nation for his coming. [...] This is a message that the Lubavitcher Rebbe Z”L was keen to convey: “We want Moshiach now, we don’t want to wait.” [...] The Rebbe blesses Netanyahu and tells him that many things have progressed since they last met, but what hasn’t changed is that Moshiach has yet to arrive. The Rebbe implores Netanyahu to do something to hasten the Moshiach’s coming, to which Netanyahu replies, “we’re doing.” https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/308423

One potential issue is the Samson Option, which is the threat to use nukes if Western powers don't support Israel in its expansion plan (initially used by Golda Meir to coerce Nixon into providing support during the 1973 Yom Kippur war). https://www.republicworld.com/defence/global-defence-news/the-shimshon-option-how-israel-s-nuclear-gambit-changed-the-course-of-1973-yom-kippur-war/

It's official: We can pretty much treat covid like the flu now
I know and like that Feynman quote, I have used it myself when discussing other topics. Actually the data is overwhelming, but is deemed not "credible" on this forum, that's all. As I told eisfeld, there is a deep chasm between those who believe the doxa (which at this point I consider to be akin to a Potemkin village) and those who don't, and as I told TallGuyJohnInBkk, my empirical observations (i.e. from the real world and I am not a recluse, over the past three months I have been to the UK and France in addition to Thailand and have observed a growing distrust and bitterness towards the authorities in general, from multiple-jabbed, previously pro-lockdown people who therefore can't be accused of being conspiracy theorists. This is the reality, but there still is a (shrinking) category of people who will accept what the media and official bodies say as incontrovertible truth.

UN agency accuses Israel of detaining, coercing staffers into false confessions about ties to Hamas The allegations are part of an as yet unpublished report compiled by UNRWA alleging Israel’s widespread physical and psychological abuse of Palestinians detained in Gaza during the war, including 21 UNRWA staff members, some of whom said they were beaten and threatened. [...] The detainees cited in the report gave testimony of beatings, sleep deprivation, sexual abuse and threats of sexual violence against both men and women detained by the Israeli military. Some of the detainees are also reported to have died while in Israeli custody, at times allegedly as a result of the abuse they suffered in detention. https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/04/middleeast/un-israel-confessions-allegations-intl/index.html#:~:text=According to the UNRWA report, access to food or water.

In that case you should know better than to engage in the "It's Hamas who are the terrorists" dichotomy.

Nicaragua files case at World Court accusing Germany of aiding Israel’s ‘genocide’
I sent you this article to give you some context. October 7th would not have happened if the Likud had not bolstered Hamas for years in order to sabotage any possibility of a Palestinian state. You do understand the concept of nuance, I am sure. Palestinian children are dying of thirst and hunger this very moment and nothing justifies that, unless they are "preemptively killing terrorists" which is a dubious notion to say the least. Also, a much-needed historical reminder: The Nakba: Five Palestinian towns massacred 75 years ago Thousands of Palestinians were killed and tens of thousands expelled during and after the creation of the Israeli state in 1948. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/5/15/the-nakba-five-palestinian-towns-massacred-75-years-ago

Hamas in its current form is an Israeli creation. Here is some much-needed background information for you: Most of the time, Israeli policy was to treat the Palestinian Authority as a burden and Hamas as an asset. Far-right MK Bezalel Smotrich, now the finance minister in the hardline government and leader of the Religious Zionism party, said so himself in 2015. [...] One thing is clear: The concept of indirectly strengthening Hamas — while tolerating sporadic attacks and minor military operations every few years — went up in smoke Saturday. https://www.timesofisrael.com/for-years-netanyahu-propped-up-hamas-now-its-blown-up-in-our-faces/

It's a sample of a general sentiment which can be verified everywhere. You are part of an ever-shrinking minority (thankfully).

It's official: We can pretty much treat covid like the flu now
Look at this post and the 18 positive emojis it received. This is not a one-off and is recurring. I am hearing more and more people being critical towards the whole Covid episode and everything it entails, people who previously went along with it. Now I perfectly understand that you don't want to hear it, but surely there must come a point where you take a step back and accept the possibility that there is a flaw in your beliefs?

It's official: We can pretty much treat covid like the flu now
Currently, in Covid-related threads, critical posts mostly receive positive emojis whereas the minority, such as yourself, who still defend the official narrative mostly receive laughs. This is a 180° trend inversion compared to two years ago when most forum users were pro-science, pro-jab, reasonable citizens and people such as myself who were critical would get mobbed, in the few cases where our posts were not deleted. So what has happened? Have the users of this forum all turned into conspiracy theorists? Or maybe there was valid ground to the criticism and people realise it now?
