  1. The 42 Tee Off range mentioned above is excellent. It has recently been updated with the trackman system which is in use at my home range in England, and I think its brilliant to use while practicing. Costs have risen accordingly, though. You now pay by the hour, 375 Baht per hour, all the balls you can hit. Accessible directly from Sukhumvit road or by the Skytrain (Ekamai stations)
  2. Spot on. My kids had to go and get their ID cards changed from master to whatever the adult version is (khun?) when they reached 15 so they could open a bank account with an ATM card (a proper adult' account I guess).
  3. I read a book called 'Plentiful Energy' promoting this type of cooling in the integral fast reactor which was around in the 1990's (co-written by 2 scientists who had worked on the project) . The whole program was very well advanced, and the technology was found to have numerous advantages over traditional water cooled reactors. Unfortunately it was cancelled by the Clinton administration of the time. There is a detailed discussion about the pros and cons of liquid sodium v. water cooling in it, which is very worth a read, along with the whole book in fact.
  4. When I lived in Bangkok I used the 'real' Mitsubishi service department to fix my water pump a couple of time. Their service was excellent, the guy would come out with a pile of spares and fix it on the spot. Not expensive either, from memory. No idea if there is a branch in Pattaya, but might be worth a few minutes on google.
