Have a THAI friend or girlfriend send emails and/or call to dentists in other areas of Thailand for much better pricing than Pattaya & Bangkok.

The Thai will always get a better price, and they just say the work is for "husband" or "brother." I lived in Udon Thani for 4 years and EVERYTHING is cheaper there -- not that many foreigners to drive up the price -- and even the favored "double pricing" (illegal in civilized countries) is absent much of the time.

After 10 years in this backward country, I NEVER buy a product or an expensive service when in Pattaya or BK

Pattaya has become one of the great sewers of the world.

Generally low class (very) visitors - too many from countries and cultures who cause most of the world's violence - dirty streets, smelly sewer pipes, scum of the earth hookers and thieves walking down the beach sidewalk day and night, and very dangerous (read any weekly local newspaper for the latest daily crime storie).

Those are just a the few reasons to NOT COME HERE! In the 10 years I've lived in this weird country, Pattaya has gone from a fun place to a cess pool. It is inconceivable anyone with any intelligence would like it here.

In the final days of humanity's existence, we will finally come to realize what REAL EVIL is capable of. Any culture/religon that kills so many of their own innocent men, women and children - and classifies ALL non-members as "the enemy" - is TRULY EVIL.

Coming to Thailand with a girlfriend is like bringing a sandwich to a banquet. You'll realize that when you arrive.

You DO NOT need a work permit too conduct an online business that is now conducted outside Thailand. Just don't market directly to Thais, and DO NOT deposit profits from it directly into to a Thai bank account. Keep your home country business address and phone number... that way you are definitely not working IN Thailand. I know 4 people who have been doing this for many years... never 2 seconds of worry about the incompetent government officials bothering them. NO ONE will ever know about your business unless you tell people here.

It never ceases to amaze me how some many people are so bored with life that they spend time in dumb threads like this. GET A LIFE GUYS!

Let's see now -- (1) THAI AVERAGE POPULATION IQ = bottom 2-3 countries in world (right down there iwth Nigeria) (2) PER CAPITA TRAFFIC DEATHS = Top 2-3 countries (right up there with 100 years behind middle eastern shit holes) and (3) ALCOHOL ABUSE = one of the top countries of the world. Such a wonderful place!

I may be incorrect, but I believe you can pay to add pages to your passport.... maybe just wait to have it done? Check their website. I'm an American here for 10 years and have never had any problem or delay at the BKK U.S. Embassy. Bangkok city sucks, but it is down in the morning and back in the afternoon.

I was in and out of Jomtien office yesterday in less than 5 minutes for the 90 day. They are consistently excellent in my experience... even in high season. And I've been going there for almost 7 years

My observation over the past decade is that the higher the degree of hate and misunderstanding of Fox News = the lower level of IQ, education and general world knowledge. Another good indication of those low levels is the amount of time wasted in this forum making inane statments that nobody cares about. Fox News is the ONLY light of TRUTH in the public media. But it requires intelligence and education to comprehend those truths.

Why am I qualified to make these conclusions? Because I am an educated, intelligent American, with a 247 IQ (average of 5 tests) a JD Law Degree and a PhD in International Trade.

This is the primary reason Thailand is the "Fraud Capital of the World!" Hundreds... probably thousands of con artiists LOVE the fact they can go the the 7-11 and buy an untraceabler phone number. They then call victims in other countries and sell all kinds of bullshit worthless stock, etc. They then have the money wired to a Hong Kong or other Asian country bank. They wiithdraw the cash from that bank and carry it back to Thailand... usually in U,S, dollars. I know one total <deleted> who has been doing this for 12 years,, averaging well over $500,000 US per year, He proudly carries around a big leather purse with about a dozen mobile phones in it! He jokes about Thailand being like the "Wild West."

Average low IQ kids have more difficulty learning... add the commonly accepted graft and you have a combination for FAILURE!

The past 10 days or so the skies in Pattaya-Jomtien look like Bangkok. The weather is dry and there shouuld be clear blue sky... but on the weather websites they say it is "fog". I lived in San Francisco for years, and it is VERY foggy there... and this is NOTHIN like that. This looks just like POLLUTED AIR to me. I hope I am incorect... because I am breathing it NOW!

I'm an American living here for 10 years. I've used ONLY Paypal the entire time. They issue a Mastercard Debit card that works everywhere in the world. I can move money from my U.S. bank to Paypal online. If someone pays my Paypal invoice for work done, I have the oney in seconds. Paypal is the processing bank for Ebay and handles trillions of dollars per year. 100% safe.. and never heard of any government snooping with them.

Someone else mentioned the "small penis syndrome" - which has to be tied with the reason above!

Add to the equation the AVERAGE 87 IQ, and you have small children making a typical "Thai half-assed attempt" at "showing off" with zero concern for the privacy rights of others.
