I'm getting quite high quotes for the $100,000 US health insurance etc. etc. - all these things make trips home impossible. I can't pay that much everytime I travel and in any case, that money would be better spent on my wife/family.
What have you been quoted?

Didn't you read that the second group "comprises travellers who won’t need to go into quarantine on entry" ?
I was referring to the 54,000 people in the first group.

With the limited quarantine rooms available, it will take months for these groups to enter.

If you have a job and documentation from abroad, you can enter Thailand, but without that you will not be able to get in before July 1st; perhaps even later, but nobody can for sure predict the situation.
It is still not easy if you have documentation. Getting a repatriation flight and paying for quarantine and insurance will cost more than 80k.

If the salesman is an ass, go elsewhere. The larger unit will not lower the humidity.

That was published on another thread yesterday. If memory serves me well, it ranged from around 50k - 150k total.
Can you give a link?

Where was this? Maybe there's no repatriation flights from there as there are reports (showing passport entry stamps) of expats returning.

Private loans can given using the house as collateral. It can be done at the Land office and failure to repay will get you legal ownership of the house.

WP3 is the work permit application receipt, i think.

I sent my official labour office invitation and job offer letter to the nearest Thai Embassy and they told me that foreigners are not allowed entry at this time.

As i have a job offer in Thailand, i was just wondering if any foreigners have successfully gained entry yet. I emailed the Thai embassy a few days ago, but i have not got a reply.

I had an AJ model. It would not lower the temp of a small room by more than 2c.

OP, surely you would have method to show them proof you have the required funds.
I can give my UK bank statement, but It is slightly more complicated.
I am not in Thailand.
The mortgage will be in the wife's name.
Most of the deposit is in my account in the UK.

Does anybody know if the bank requires to see evidence of the mortgage deposit at the time of application or will they take your word for it. The reason being is that the cash is in the UK and the exchange rates have just dropped significantly.

I think the hole is a there to drain water from the frame. A picture of the whole window would help.

TRW make a lot of OEM parts.

I agree that it is risky. Maybe getting a lawyer to hold the chanote would work.

Unless you go to the Land Office and register the arrangement with them, and get it recorded on the chanute, the house can be sold from under you and you have no protection.
So the terms can be added to the chanote?
Would the Land Office have any pre-made contracts for this scenario?
