  1. I train with Khun Ae at Central Bangna... Choose Muay Thai(it's cheaper) I pay 12,568 for 12 sessions inc VAT or 19,321 for 20 sessions. This guy has helped me lose over 20 kilos and my BF% has dropped from 43% to just under 14, in a year...

Unlike other on here, I like Motivation and to be motivated, some can do it by themselves others need someone(which are you).. I found it difficult to motivate myself after an ACL reconstruction following a sports related injury. I have been a team player and had coaches all the way through to my mid 20's. Coaches that pushed me physically and mentally 5 days a week.... to train on my own was boring.. I gave up and put on weight....

In the end I cut out the booze and the MacD's and put the money towards a PT.... worth every penny in my opinion... I am fitter and healthier than I have been in my LIFE(36 now). I am doing my first Dualthalon next month and am starting my PT certification course in September.... I just wish I had done it all earlier

  2. I'm paying 2065 baht + 7 procent VAT for 5 months

I also paid an admin fee of 1600 baht and a joining fee of 499baht.

I guess if you are going for a year membership you can get it for 2000 baht per month for sure. Just don't accept their offers too fast smile.png

I paid exactly the same at Bangna, although I did not pay admin fee or joining fee. Must add also, the gym in Bangna, is by far the best community atmosphere I have ever seen in a gym..... Absolutely love it

Add again...... Platinum Membership is more expensive...

  3. Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.

My Daughter was born in the UK to myself and my partner(she had British passport at time of birth), obviously no problems getting the passport... Now it has come for renewal, the forms have now changed, and they are asking for my wifes naturalisation certificate number, which we do not have(over 20 years ago).

If I submit the application without that info, will by daughters application be rejected even though she has had a previous passport(expired september).

    Thanks in advance

  4. And you got this information where exactly???(source)

    exactly copied from http://thailand.prd.go.th

    also says:

Her Royal Highness Princess Bejaratana, the only daughter of King Vajiravudh (Rama VI), passed away on 27 July 2011. The royal cremation ceremony for Her Royal Highness will be held for five days, from 8 to 12 April 2012. The royal cremation day will be April 9, which has been declared a public holiday by the Cabinet. The three-day mourning period is scheduled for April 8-10.

also as for Holidays April 2012, simply Google : 'Thailand public holiday april 2012' about 27 million pages so take your pick.

It says cutback on entertainment activities, it does not say No selling of alcohol

In your previous post you said you just got a letter stating you had to refrain from selling alcohol, so which is it ?

I am just pulling the point of the article that nowhere does it say alcohol is forbidden.. The hotel have double checked and we can sell alcohol but have no music... Some venues will not be able to sell.... Probably depends on the district

  6. believe 6 - 10th........ 6th is a Holiday in Thailand then

    Mourning Period April 8-10

There will be a three-day mourning period in Thailand next month where visitors may notice some differences. Thai flags on public and private buildings may be flown at half-mast and night entertainment venues will be asked to suspend their business from April 8-10. Television and radio stations are also expected to alter their schedules during the 3-day period. April 9 has also been declared as a public holiday in Thailand.

    April 2012 Holiday

April 6 (Friday) – Chakri Day

April 9 (Monday) – added as public holiday for the funeral of HRH Princess Bejaratana

    April 13-15 (Friday-Sunday) – Songkran Festival

April 16 (Monday) – substitution day for Songkran

  7. Hi Guys... Thinking of turning to the dark side and purchasing an x-box..... I believe they have just set up xbox live in Singapore... wondered if anyone uses it and what the online experience is like compared to ps3... Is it the same deal, always getting stuck playing against Japs... or do you get good connection local games.... Are there enough thai gamers to warrant the purchase?

  8. Bunters do lots and lots of products, bread, hams, sausages, pies etc etc The wife and I visited their factory/office a few month's ago and there was an Irish Chap who was very helpful and gave us lots of free samples to taste. Another supplier in Bangkok is Asia West Foods, who I believe are the main boys in town, we have not tried their products, their website is: asiawestfoods.com.

Irish Chap now works in Phuket
