  1. Calm down, no worries, you dont need two threads. They have become redundant and are not used anymore.

Is a Thailand arrival card still required in 2024?

The TM6 form is the arrival/departure card, which foreigners are required fill out with their passport information and other personal and travel information when entering or leaving Thailand. The form was permanently cancelled for foreign travellers arriving by air since July 2022.Apr 14, 2567 BE
  2. KLA, I think you can see by the nick where I grew up. Have not been back in 5 years due to covid and work schedules. Have twins one in LA and one in SF. The LA daughter is working for Space X and we are looking forward to touring the Hawthorn facility. The SF daughter has a media consultancy. Have not seen either since they started this. Also I have a 50 year college reunion up in Crescent City. Looking forward to driving the whole of California and southern Oregon on the coast.

Here the wife and I are like you often taken 3 day to 10 day domestic road trips around Thailand.

Problem is when in the US for a month and I use GPS daily for road trips. My bill for 1 month was $200. I used something like 15 gb of data. What do you do????????

I have always gone to T-Mobile but they have changed to an online company called Ultra.  I have this package waiting at my daughters house in SF, the best I could find. $39.99 for 15GB and a month.

As to the 'nudity', it's less than 50 years that just about every Thai peasant woman (mostly Khmer & Lao) went topless all day every day ... But modern technology is producing whole generations of memory-free people.

And heroin was available over the counter. As was cocaine. There was a lot of things happening less than 50 years ago. Whats your point

Not in the 70's. I was here, not a chance. Actually very funny. Two wild and crazy guys..

There are 24 Seater VIP Busses from Suvarnabhumi to HH, leaving every Hour. May be just take a transfer Bus from DMK to Suvarnabhumi?

So go 40 kilometers the wrong direction. Then begin your journey?

They are really nice people in surin that is for sure. Drivers are very considerate. Best people in thailand I think. Opposite of the thai scum in phuket

Just so you know the scum in Phuket are not from Phuket.

  7. This is a bit off topic. But the National Aviation Museum of the Thai Air Force is just north of Don Muang Airport and is open to the public, free as well. I have enjoyed it many times. When the kids were little and still lived here they loved it.

Perhaps if its open the Navy would be the same.

Why not fly direct from DMK? Only 1 hr flight. However i strongly advise you get your eVisa in advance before you get there. When i arrived, the "Visa on Arrival" line filled the room. They must have spent all day there. I had my eVisa and there was only 2 people in front of me at the Immigration counter.

Good post. I just looked it up, it seems great, but Laos observes Songkran as well and it says the embassy and the evisa wont be working until the 18th.

What I really need is a very light-weight and sexy Thai woman to stand on my tables to clean the filters on my ACs.

You take the filters out to clean them. At least on any that I have owned over the last 35 years.
