I have lived in Thailand for 15 years, have used the Combo method every time , first in BKK for 5 years then 10 years in Pattaya, Jomtien  Immigration  I am Australian so can not get an letter from the Australian Embassy,  I have money in the Thai bank and money deposited each 28 days into my Thai bank that make up to over 800,000 Baht for the year, Centerlink in Australia arranged to deposit my pension direct into my Thai bank , Kasikornbank, I get a statement from the Kasikornbank, for the full 12 months that show all deposits, and the money in the bank , must have two letters from the bank , one for the deposits and one for the money in the bank, never had a problem, never used an agent ever always do it myself, so easy, ,, this is only my experience at Jomtien Chon Buri only may not work at all Immigration places. if any one wants to contact me they can I maybe able to help. OP may not be able to use this method as he may not have the income and money in the bank long enough,     

I have lived in Thailand for 15 years I am 84 do not drink or smoke keep very fit and healthy and drive a car and ride a Scooter ( Honda Click ) I am 64 kg no fat on me, still have great reflexes and can see very good, I have been riding Motor Bikes for over 60 years, have raced bikes, I always wear a correct approved helmet, gloves and jacket and never flip-flops or wife beaters.  

 The people that say if you are older should not ride a bike or drive car are just stupid, I see every time I go out very bad younger people riding Bikes very bad car drivers,  , Farangs that are very over weight that have no hope of handing a bike correctly, many young people riding like lunatics with no idea what they are doing, Farangs and Thais with the GF side saddle that is very dangerous thing to do, young guys on holiday with wife beaters shorts flip - flops no helmet going like bats out of hell with newly acquired expensive Thai lady on the back. they are 1000 % more dangerous to themselves and other people, 

if you can Ride OK and safe the age should have nothing to do with it, and by the way nobody drives a bike you ride bikes that is motor bike push bikes with or with out motors all bikes.      

I have two AZ vaccines now would like a booster shot, had the first two with Bangkok Hospital , now can not find where to get the 3 rd shot , ???? thank you .

I did my extension of stay for retirement a few days ago, this is the 14th time I have renew it, never used an Agent, I always use the combination method, 402,000 Baht in the bank and about 42,000 Baht income pension each month and did it at Jomtien since 2012, I get an statement from the bank for the income each month, and an letter for that Statement and an letter for the money in the bank 402,000 Baht , so must have two letters, it takes about 30 minute at the bank, must have all the copy of the Passport, and Bank books, contact for the rent of the house I live in , 1900 Baht for the cost of the extension of  stay, it takes no more than  20 minutes at the Immigration at Jomtien , all finish, pick up Passport the next day and Bob your uncle all over red rover for another year, very easy, if you have things correct you will never have any problem, never had a problem at Jomtien or Bangkok, any one can ask me and I will tell them how, no need to pay agent. 

I live in Chon Buri just had offer from Medpark Bangkok for Moderna 1 Q and 2 Q next year for 3,300 Baht , will have Pfizer next Thursday 26th at BHP free,

The best way is to contact Toyota Finance and tell them the full situation, you maybe surprised how much they will help her, tell the the truth do not lie to them, they are more interested in getting as much money back as she is getting rid of the can ,, they know you can not get blood out of a stone, do not let it go on and be repossessed, I know what I am talking about I was a motor dealer and  manger of BMW Sydney before coming to Thailand, I do not now if Thailand has an ombudsman if they do tell her to contact them they will do the best job for her. 

Do not let it get repossessed  

The ombudsman Phone number is,, 02-141-9146 Anyapatch Sattayaphan . tell her to call today or very soon. they will help and do all the work for her. do not let it get repossessed if that happens it will be very difficult to do anything.

I live in Chon Buri, can get into Big C, Tesco, Villa Market, 7/11, almost anywhere with out a mask on,  can not get on a bus to BKK, they take my temperature have to sign a book in and out, been like that since the start of Covid 19,   , how is this a money grab, every where I go almost everyone has a mask on, it has been like that for over a year now, anyone not wearing a mask is stupid, the only people I see with out a mask is a few Farangs, maybe they are Trupers ,  I got a few colds each year, have not had a cold since I have been wearing a mask.

The look of that building is enough to not buy it Why would anyone want to buy any property in Thailand now, very unstable political situation, serious pandemic world wide, serious unemployment situation in Thailand, every week horror stories about home and Condo from Farang owners. legal system totally stacked against Farang, No real laws policed for any problems for Farang owners, I have lived in Thailand for 13 years now still have all the money I came with, moved 6 times never had to put up with any problems just move, can have a family in rented place just the same as owned. I have known three Farangs that bought homes (owned by the wife) and can not sell them, many Farangs do not think situations change but they can and for the worse for the Farang. I was married my wife die over one year ago now she was only 56 die of asbestos's she always want me to buy a house, I never would, if I had bought a house when she die I would have had a very big problem , would have one year to sell or get out, and I am sure her family would have try to get the house for sure, very happy I never buy anything.

Thanks every one, I would never kill any snake, if you leave them alone they will not hurt you, most peopleget bit trying to kill them or catch them this snake eat Jing jot , and small frogs and things, do good .

Yes I know , it has gone into hiding can not see it now I know where it is but do not want to mess with it, I think it is a Oriental Whip Snake only a little venomous not harmful to humans, I will go to city hall to see if it is open.   

I have a bright Green Snake living in the garden where I live, it is second one I have seen, the owner killed the first one it was inside the house, this one is out side, I have seen it twice , can anyone tell if it is poisonous it is about 3 - 4 foot long very bright green and thin, small pointed head. I want to call City hall they will send someone to catch it and release it somewhere safe, can not get city hall to answer, maybe close for the lockdown. I have one when I lived in Nong Pai Lai. much bigger and dark green , the men from city hall came and took it away and release it in the bush away from people. I do not want to tell the owner he will kill it and that is not good. I am from Australia and we do not kill Snakes. all Snakes in Australia are protected can not kill them.

The most City to City bus company are very good, have good record , it is the tourist bus that have the bad record, but not all bus company only the really good ones. like NCA, Air Udon, Air Korat, Chan touris spelt wrong look at google    

Put the Cereal in the Fridge, been doing it for more than 40 years never had weevils, put nuts in also , keeps the Cereal fresh and the nuts also. 

Jomtien Monday 17th,

Did my extension of stay for Retirement I use the Combination of Money in the bank (402,000 BHT, ) and income of pension ( $AUD 37,000.00 ) 

I had a information sheet from the Immigration at Jomtien the Combination way is stated on the sheet.

I had NO LETTER from the Australian Embassy, had a statement from the Kasikornbank for the last 13 months showing receiving the pension every 28 days, I receive 13 payments each year, and a letter from the bank for the statement, also had a letter from the bank for the amount of money in the bank, so must have two letters, I leave the money in the bank never touch it. I also did my 90 day report at he same time, I had a new Passport and had the visa stamps put in the new passport,  

Everything was good and told to pick my Passport up after 2.00pm the next day, 

When I went to pick my Passport up I was told I had no photo and the extension of stay for the last year had expired and I was now on one day over stay, I had given the photo to the man that checks the paperwork but photo but the next day the photo was missing, the IO that checks the paperwork apologize to me saying sorry papa sorry. I had to pay 500 BHT and got a stamp in my Passport for the over stay. I did not say anything just payed the money got my new extension of stay, I did not want to rock the boat just copped it I did think they would accept the fact they lost the photo, but my fault for not attaching the photo to the form 7.
